I really enjoyed this lock. I'm new into locksport and I got this as a blue belt lock challenge and i picked it a few days ago. It took a few hours for me to manage to get it open but what a feeling when i finally got it open. Also by the time i managed to open it, i also learned the pattern because it's well made and the feeling is consistent. Indeed, it takes a lot of focus to get the proper movement. It thought me a lot, this lock.

Can you please try to rake it open. I own 3 Gammas and all of them are hard to pick, but extremely easy to open with a city rake ! Use a 0.015 city rake and start with soft pressure, then increase the pressure slowly...

@@LockNoob I guess after more than 3 months nobody is interested anymore, but I put a video online in which I rake the Gamma 700 and the BW Diamant. Both locks have the same core. A bad key bitting turns a good lock into bad lock: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yzhVBGYvUAU.html

That's a beautiful lock, just ordered one. I also saw the alpha. Was a lot more expensive and had bitting on the bottom of the key almost like a wafer lock. Anyone know what that is? Edit: got 2 opens on it, that lock is a bitch. Really fun though! And the alpha is a wafer. Looks really fun!

I think those are sidebar ready pins.Some locks have it,some not but they implemented them no matter if there is or isnt a sidebar.Spools on the top of the keypins cant doo anything.

They are oversets traps

@@LockNoob Cant be,because they are on the top of keypins.If they are ,they will act like overset traps only if you use comb pick.China smiley locks usualy have such pins for sidebar to drop in and core could turn.
