TLDW - People who hate mayo, pickles, cheese, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce on their burgers, order burgers with mayo, pickles, cheese, onions, tomatoes and lettuce, and then try to rate them.
Yea the only thing I really wouldn't want most times on burgers is maybe tomatoes, sometimes they're ok. Onions have to be chopped up otherwise they're too overpowering, otherwise everything else about most generic fast food burgers are gucci to me.
Yea tomatoes is hit or miss. If you go more simple or less toppings tomato is great. Otherwise it just gets too juicy and messy and the burger can't hold the tomato in.
I love how Asmon turns into master chef with these fast foods, could listen to him all day rate this stuff tbh and how he’s absolutely disgusted by five guys selling drinks for 3$ lmao never change Zak
Bro tomatoes are disgusting. And the rest of the ingredients simply add like some crunch. Doesnt really effect the flavour. Cheese adds flavour and Sauces.
@@rexila Tomato, pickles, onion, bacon (if it's that kind of burger) definitely affect the taste. You'd be lying to suggest otherwise. You think tomatoes are disgusting, a personal gripe, so I think you'd agree there. As for crunch, that's mainly lettuce, which there's more than one kind of lettuce. Iceberg would be the most crunchy and really the most dynamic for a burger. It may not affect the taste but the crunch adds substance to the burger, I dont think that can be denied either, really. It's fine to have simple tastes like asmon and nmplol, but arguing ingredients dont affect, enhance or add to a burger is absurd. Sauces and seasonings are included here, they're ingredients.
This whole video. Asmond takes a regular bite. Thinks about how to rank it, and makes multiple good points. Nick takes the absolute biggest bite that can fit in his mouth. Chews it about 5 times, while struggling not to choke to death. Then just agrees with everything Asmond says.
The worst thing about this is how they eat fast food every single day and remove everything that makes a burger a burger, they're actually eating bread with meat instead of burgers.
@@PedritoElMaldito Well the burgers they ordered came with all those toppings, but they removed most of it. So how can it even be considered a fair rating if you remove most of it? There's a reason why burgers come with different toppings.
its because he knows asmon can bring in a crowd because hes super funny and smart even though he talks SO much. he just let him talk cuz the chat loved it, imagine if nick was talking the whole time
I wouldn't say I love BK because I've never tried anything on their menu apart from Whopper so I can't judge the entire selection. I've never tried anythign else because that's the ultimate fast food burger. It's the only fast food S-tier burger.
In Aus and I think NZ its called Hungry Jacks. A triple cheese burger is WAY better at Hungry Jacks then Maccas in Australia. Our food quality is higher then USA though.
I take it you've never had fresh grassfed beef or any wild game? I'm talking air chilled blood dripping meat. I'm also talking clean meat that has lived off the land and nothing jabbed to death with antibiotics and then injected with water to add weight. Clean meat is like nothing you buy packaged in a store. It would also help if you understood what goes into the meat on your plate. You have a lot more respect for the meat you eat when you procure it yourself.
@@derekhoover5304 so your basically saying that because lots of work is put into the meat you should respect it. Agree with that, doesn't mean you should like it kekw. Like I don't think anyone's disrespecting your meat man. They are just making some criticism on some of industries cheapest meat (not saying it doesn't take work)
Nmp: Hur-dur, this tastes weird, shit burger. Asmon:This burger has a nice consistency, the sauce has a delicate aftertaste with a hint of spice to it. Also the meat is very nice and tastes great.
KFC in South Africa was awesome, too. They had this thing called a "Chow," a mini loaf of bread hollowed out with a chicken strip and mashed potatoes and gravy inside the mini loaf. Best fast food item ever, I've thought about often since I've been back in America.
Such an amazing content that I didn't know I needed. I actually saved this in my favorites, for future reference when ordering the food, thank you! Great duo of Asmon and Nick, the synergy is amazing! Please, do more content together, or a weekly show or something! would love to watch more
Agree with Five Guys being #1 from this list of burger joints. I personally love the chain Smashburger's cheeseburger the most, but it's not on the list. I do love that at Five Guys you can custom build the burger and do an A-1 sauce cheeseburger. Pretty great. And their Cajun Fries are the best fries of ANY burger chain. Plus they give you 3 times the amount you ordered. They just pour a ton of them into the bag. So good.
as a former worker frm KFC in the netherlands, just wannet to say, they mix the spicy seasoning for the hotwings through the flower. so, you get the chicken, which already has like hotsauce on it, toss it into the flower with the spicy seasoning through it, THEN, they put the chicken in a basket, and dip it in water for a second, so the flower get sticky, then they toss it back into the flower for a second layer! and after that they fry it :) its chili powder that they mix through the flower.
Nah wendy's has one of the best quality burgers out of all the cheap fast food restaurants. Mcdonald's and Burger King both have that trash tier no flavour cardboard burger. And that's when I stopped the video lol.
Why would u expect a streamer who talks continuously a d maturpy about a lot of topics for 10 hours straight be awkward? Hes one of the most literate talkers who can hold a sentence like most popular twich users. People like when u talj which is hwy theyre popular
I used to work at dairyqueen, the thing about our food is that no one orders our food unless they grew up near a dq. It’s always been blizzards & buster bars first then our cakes and our food is last. Also the truth with us microwaving our burgers its so the cheese melts and sometimes keeps the burger warm.
Agree, but the flamethrower was actually pretty fucking good when made extremely fresh (micowaved and everything - also have worked at one - we would microwave for around 15 seconds or so to melt the cheese)
Wendy's small hamburger with added lettuce, extra onions, tomatoes and extra pickles is still $1.29. It's not a terrible price but here in NH places cannot handle special orders. Back in Northern NY it wasn't ever an issue but here they struggle even though it's literally an option on the app and they used to heavily promote the fact that you could customize.
I usually get my burgers pretty simple with cheese, sometimes with cheese/lettuce/tomatoes, but damn, never with mayo, lol. That shit is fucking terrible.
I feel like some places definitely put too much lettuce and im also not a fan on tomatoes on my burgers but i do like them normally but apart from that everything else is fine on a burger imo.
@@ImotekhtheStormlord-tx2it They make the burger a specific way, that's how it's meant to be eaten. If you take everything off how can you say it's good or bad to people who don't take everything off? How can you give a product a bad rating after changing the product yourself?
Whoever thought to do this collab is a gd genius. Asmon largely speaks to my soul, except i rate wendy's slightly less. The quality has really there has fallen hard in recent years imo but it's usually ok. gj otk peepo, you guys put out the best stuff! thank you.
The condiments costing money varies from operator to operator. I work for a McDonalds operator family and we don't start charging for extra dipping sauces until the customer asks for a ridiculous amount (ie 10 sauces for a 4-nugget). It's purely to combat those customers who think they can walk in and ask for the entire shipment box of dipping sauces without having to pay for it. It was a real problem when the Szechuan sauce was around, so y'all can probably blame those Rick and Morty nerds of the world for why a lot of operators charge for dipping sauces outside of what the food is supposed to come with.
There are about 5-6 Five Guys all over Germany and they charge more than high and mid tier restaurants. So it's not Five guys being bad, it's rather the decision what I'd rather get if I decide to spend this amount of money on a meal. When I was in the US I got street food rather than fast food from a chain.
I just want to say as someone who ACTUALLY worked at Dairy Queen (in the last 3 years), I have never microwaved a burger. It's not at all how they are made...
Yeah but asmond is right too. they give you the equivalent og a double cheeseburger and charge you as much as a quart pounder. I'm sorry but putting thousand island dressing (special sauce) shredded lettuce, the same onions as a double cheese and the same pickles doesn't trump the ketchup, mustard, onions, and pickles. Certainly not for double the price. you're basically paying an extra double cheese for the equivalent of a second bottom bun.
@@davidburton3447 i could imagine that it works differently for europe and na because over here in europe you always get ultra scammed if you dont buy a "McMenu" or something with a coupon. Therefor the normal prices for the items arent really considered.
@@hazardousjazzgasm129 Normally the pickles are a bit soft and sloppy with a bit of crunchiness. It's quite hard to get a burger freshly made from fast food chains, because they tend to make a lot of them in one go and some tend to sit quite long in the warmer.
For the regular burger, 100% agree about Whataburger. The customization of the burger at Whataburger is what makes it 100x better than everywhere else.....get a #2 double cheese, small bun, sub creamy pepper sauce for the mustard and chow down.....hot ketchup for fries
BK gets alot of hate but the classic Whopper (no condiments, they always overdo it if you don't) and the Rodeo Burger (when they had them) are actually A tier for sure.
Here in Orlando atleast what gets them bad ratings is just the staff are poorly trained and give you burgers looking like they were dropped on the floor and kicked around and it's cold on top of that. Certain brands in Certain areas just aren't managed well. Like here in Orlando DQ is good and BK is trash because the DQs are just run better. Overall Culvers is the most popular though because Culvers is staffed well and put out a decent product.
I actually like the fact that wendys fries have the skin, and the pretzel bacon pub burger is the best burger at wendys and one of my favorite fast food burgers.
why do they expect a burger to look like a gourmet restaurant when they open it? If you order a burger with sauce and veggies then that's what they're going to put on your burger as weird as that sounds. Quite frankly I would be concerned if I opened my hamburger and all the sauces and veggies separated from each other. I mean these guys literally order fast-food hamburgers and expected Mozart.
Also depends on how the place is managed and staffed. I normally like Wendy's but have eaten at some sh*t ass Wendy's before that I wouldn't feed to my dog.
The best fast food burger I ever had was from a Jack in the Box in Globe Arizona. I never even liked Jack in the box, but we were passing through the town on a long drive and there weren't many options for food. I got a Bacon Ultimate cheeseburger combo, and it completely blew away my expectations. I've never had a fast food burger on that level again in my entire life, and I probably never will. It was a once in a lifetime experience.
Is it a wife swap? Is that what's going on here? I have never watched this guys content and I was really wondering wtf their strange dynamic was based in lol
I imagine Asmon just has a 15 year old plate off to the side of his desk full of Wendy's french fry potato skins that he pulls off while eating them lol
Dairy Queen used to be great. They changed everything in the franchise. The burgers used to be like a 6 dollar burger from Carl's Jr. They had the red onion and the red relish. Then one day I went there and they gave me one like they had. The owner acknowledged the change and made me one of the old ones with the supplies they still had. They also clamped down on the milkshakes. They used to have a long list of flavors like a standard burger place and DQ HQ made them reduce it to the standard three to not compete with the blizzard. Edit: I feel like I should clarify that I'm talking about what the 6 dollar burger was when it came out. It is still okay now, but when it came out it was first spot s-tier and cheap. Now it is just okay and is actually 6 dollars.
@@mongoosemcmongoose2786 yea I think five guys is still over priced I mean but I have no idea why it was THAT expensive for them..unless they were exaggerating but idk something was off lol
I’m aware that it’s well known but as an ex innout employee I can say that it is as fresh as it gets. Fries aren’t for everyone and they seem fake for how different they are but I’ve cut the potatoes myself they are real. Personally I love them especially animal style but normal too, get yourself the salt packet that comes with, dump it on, and you will be happy with them. Also try out well done for it is good too. Pro tip ask for an extra toast on the bun, as you can get all kinds of onion. Asking would you like onion is mandatory for this reason, we have grilled onion, whole grilled onion, and normal whole onion, you can mix and match.
i love how the girl at some point gets mad at them for taking everything off besides the meat. "ew mayo, ew pickels, ew onions" how can you even rate the burgers if you dont even eat the actual burgers xD
alot of people take shit out from the burgers to eat the meat. And to be honest, 1 slice of pickle, 1 slice of tomato and 1 smashed lettuce are not really improvements to the burger.
I must say I was extremely disappointed that In n Out didn't end up in S tier. It would have been fine behind five guys and maybe shake shack, but to put it under burger king in A tier is just sad. I already know that there are a lot of people who say that in n out is the best thing in the world. It is not. But as a fast food burger place, it is one of the best there is. However, I believe I understand why In n Out didn't get a higher rating. Picky Polom and the skeleton on the right stripped the burger down to nothing, and one of the best parts about In n Out is the fresh vegetables. There is pretty much no other fast food place that has lettuce as crunchy, tomatoes as firm, and onions as crisp as In n Out, and they stripped the burger of that amazing quality. The cheese is average and the meat is pretty good as you can taste the grilled flavor. The sauce on the other hand is amazing; it takes all the best parts of ketchup and all the best parts of mayo and combines it into something greater than the sum of its parts and it works to tie together the freshness of the vegetables with the heartiness of the meat perfectly. I'll admit the fries aren't the best as they lack the fluffiness+crunchiness that is desirable in fries, but the animal fries are amazing (although maybe not for everyone.) The one downside I would say In n Out has is that the burgers have to be eaten within about 30mins or else they get pretty soggy, but it's still pretty impressive how long they last given how juicy their burgers are. In n Out is a Cali staple for a reason, not only because it is among the best fast food burgers, but also because the In n Out experience is wonderful. There is nothing like a crowded In n Out on a Friday night in the summer, but it can only be described to someone through experience. A double double with extra onions extra tomatoes, animal fries, and a strawberry milkshake is more than enough to make me happy. This last section is for those of you who say In n Out is disgusting. You actually have to try it before you can say anything about it. If you like burgers in general, there is no way In n Out is below a B tier for you. Their burgers are objectively high quality, and anyone saying In n Out is trash (while enjoying burgers in general) is only saying so because it is cool to be different! and quirky! or because you hate California for some ideological reason (if the only place you've been to is LA though then you get a free pass on the hate.)
100% well said. In n Out is absolutely S tier, not because they have the best burgers, but because they do everything right while being incredibly consistent for a fast food chain. These two have the palates of young children.
@@karl7487 food can't be objectively good cause i've known people that hated pizza while most people like them, also fast food does taste like it was made for kids to be honest,''real'' food tastes so much diferrent and better then fast food, but i might be biased cause i hate fast food so there's that..
In n out in texas is like a F tier. Fries are soggy and disgusting, and the burgers are dry and unseasoned.People who simp for in n out just grew up with it honestly. And before you say "YoU jUsT nEvEr HaD iT" Ive had in n out around 10 times and it was dogshit every single time aside from the first time where it was okay at best..ANd before someone says "Why did you eat it 10 times if you dont like it" its because it was always bought for me and my mom taught me to not turn down free food.
