The chair was too high such that he could not sit well to play the piano. Somebody had to help him adjust chair height for him. But unfortunate no one did that. Although he was not in the right position to play the piano, he did very well. Awesome!
You are amazing! I cannot have words to describe how happy I am, seeing little kids like you is almost impossible now a days! They all care about stupid game systems or they want to be a youtuber. You have very intellectual parents😉👍
Erin Always “game systems” are you living the 90s or a mom I really can’t tell and some people have a living off RU-vid it’s how they survive nothing is wrong with it. (I really hope ur a soccer mom)
Whatever! Xbox, PlayStation,Nintendo Wii etc. they all called game console or systems. No way I am a soccer mom! But I can tell that you are an adolescent. Sorry to wake you up, but being a RU-vidr is not a real job. UNLESS you are sharing a real talent or teaching valuable things to the society. The new generation needs to read, learn new languages or play instruments, briefly have better goals. Everyone wants to be a youtuber, who will be computer engineer, forensic investigator, clinical psychologist, neurologist. etc. 50 years later???...

47Cybele59 well I’m asian and my parents forced me to go to piano lessons every single day and I hated it, I dont use what I learned at all bc I never enjoyed it. So yea, when I found my passion for comics and drawing they did not support me. That’s how it works sometimes
I would like to see the notes on the manuscript the lady was making, for interest sakes. And I wonder what anyone has to say about his interpretation? For it sounds very sensible to me. I mean his interpretation makes sense of the music to me whereas often pieces don't really have a commonsense, they can feel somewhat disjointed. Is his interpretation at all different from the commonly played?
Can’t stand that woman who kept flipping her pages of music scores! She can do it more discreetly! Jonah is an amazing pianist prodigy. God bless his parents for cultivating his talent so it can shine for and delight his audience.
Why do people always talk about asians are more greater? Although im asian i just want to say... The one controls your life is you and nobody can be the best of you.
@@MusicFanOnline Why should he take time away from his piano practice to eat? To sleep? To listen to news reports about the coronavirus? Even to think of any other music besides the piano repertoire? Must he be a SLAVE to the piano? For whose benefit? His? Yours? That of the public? Even the great pianists of my youth are now forgotten by most. What's the point of all this practice? You express an absurdly limited view of ART, let alone of LIFE in general. The Bible offers a profound REALITY CHECK, because it tells the truth about human nature, about human destiny. THEREFORE one ought to read it, to be INFORMED about existing choices-----------between God and the world, the path of righteousness and that of wickedness, heaven and hell. (Romans 6:23) 'For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' What the world calls 'noble' may well be worthless in the sight of God. Think of the values of 'getting ahead', 'making it', 'maximizing one's potential', 'competing in the global marketplace'----------------- all praiseworthy, according to worldly ways of thinking. Yet the Bible says this: (James 3:13-15) 'Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.' 'But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.' This statement of Jesus is probably far better known: (Mark 8:36) 'For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?'
@@jesusislordsavior6343 Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I am not as narrow-minded as you may think, and I believe that the bible has good teachings about human nature and how to be a better person. However, while the bible has good teachings, that is a separate issue from whether Jesus actually exists or not. I don’t think he should necessarily spend so much time on the piano, but is it really necessary to spend time going to church? You said that “you must believe in Jesus to be saved”, and I don’t know exactly what you mean by “saved”, but I don’t think that one “must” believe in Jesus. And, while you stated that I have an "absurdly limited view of life", I feel that, ironically, the same could be said of you if you feel that one "must" believe in Jesus as if believing in Jesus is the only proper option and anyone who does not believe in Jesus is doomed or insane. Following the bible to be a better person is one thing, but I don't agree with the limited view that you "must" believe in Jesus or else you're doomed.
@@MusicFanOnline I appreciate the civility of your response and intend to respond in kind. I do however disagree completely with your contention that the value of Biblical ethical teachings and the Divine status of Jesus are disconnected issues. Furthermore the existence of Jesus, a necessary prerequisite for serious consideration of His Divinity, is accepted by most SECULAR historians, on the strength of the Biblical narrative itself. I should know because my own father was a SECULAR historian during his career, specializing in ancient classics, and able to read the New Testament in the original Greek. The usual quibble of secular historians is not about Jesus' existence or the fact of His Crucifixion, but about His Resurrection, and that ONLY because a supernatural element has been introduced into the narrative which makes people uncomfortable on 'a priori' philosophical grounds. Before I knew anything at all about the Bible, and before I became a Christian, I used to assume WITHOUT EVIDENCE that the stories were written a few centuries after the events described, and that the supernatural elements were mythical. In short, my view in a state of ignorance was remarkably similar to yours. When I learned of the Gospels' actual dates of composition, my perspective was radically changed; and contact with the texts convinced me that their reports were authentic. I found Mark's matter-of-fact style of presentation particularly compelling. There is not the slightest hint of hyperbole or grandstanding; astounding events slip by as though hardly anything had happened. This is NOT the work of someone trying to make something out of nothing. I would also argue that the Bible was not written at all to show a path of moral reformation (leave that to self-help books and schoolmarms), but a path of spiritual transformation and redemption. The difference is immense. No matter how well humans are trained, they will always retain their essential nature, which is sinful. That is, we consistently fall short of our best intentions. The human will is like a gun which cannot shoot straight because of an inherent defect in the mechanism. The Greek word for 'sin' (hamartia) has the sense of 'missing the mark', so the analogy is not so horrid after all. (Romans 3:23) 'For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.' (Psalm 51:5) 'Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.' (No, this is NOT a condemnation of the procreative act per se.) (Jeremiah 17:9) 'The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it?' Even if this defect is inherited, it is not that we were 'created' this way. Rather, there has been an element of choice all along, so that we cannot escape moral responsibility for the sins which we commit against each other, ourselves, and God. So I repeat, Jesus did not teach moral reformation but repentance (metanoia, changing of mind). He also said that unless one is 'born again' he/she cannot see the kingdom of God. Not seeing involves both failure to perceive and failure to attain. Among other things, the kingdom of God is a society of the redeemed, of which Christ is the builder and Head. Hebrew Scripture speaks occasionally of God's intention to write His moral Law upon human hearts. In this way the believer will WANT to carry out His will. But according to the dictates of MERE RELIGION, a person must FORCE himself/herself to obey out of sheer willpower, when the desire is not there. That sets up intolerable psychological conflicts and leads to a religion of authoritarian, hierarchical control. The social results are often very unpleasant. No wonder that so many reject that path. As for Jesus being the only Way, it is HIS statement to which you object. I did not invent this idea myself. He said (John 14:6), 'I AM THE WAY, AND THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE; NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.' His statement does not logically permit any 'intermediate' interpretation. It is either true or false. I have concluded from study and long experience that it is TRUE. Similarly, if I have studied a piece of music for a long time, I will have reached certain definite conclusions about its form and content, which are no longer subject to fundamental alteration, though I do not claim to know absolutely everything there is to know about the score. Now what kind of person would make false claims to Divinity? Only an evil or crazy person, whose precepts must therefore be suspect! But I find NO inconsistency between the quality of Jesus' recorded BEHAVIOR and His recorded DOCTRINE. He demonstrates EXACTLY the sort of INTEGRITY which sinful humans lack. For this and other reasons I believe that He is more than just a man.
@@jesusislordsavior6343 Thank you for your detailed reply. From what you stated, it seems that at one point, you and I had a similar standpoint, and, then, upon further investigation, based on the dates and the matter-of-fact tone of the writings, you concluded that the writings were factual and you became more convinced of your religious beliefs. As you and I are on opposite sides of the fence, I feel that people such as ourselves representing opposite sides will take what we see from the bible and interpret it in some way to fit our own narrative and beliefs or what we want to believe. It is not that I do not want to believe. Actually, I wish I believed, but just because I want to believe doesn’t mean that I am going to go ahead and believe it. What you mention about the dates of the writings is not conclusive proof to me because stories can change and get exaggerated as they get passed around from person to person even within the space of one day. Also, regarding the matter-of-fact tone, someone could still make up a story in that type of tone (writers do it all the time). Furthermore, someone could have actually truly believed that they saw something, but did not actually see it. Being in a dream-like/half-asleep state or some mild hallucination or something similar can cause one to think they saw or heard something which they did not. It might not have been a case of anyone outright lying, but he might have truly believed what he wrote. This could have subsequently gotten exaggerated through word of mouth as the story passed from person to person. It is true, of course, that human beings have sinful tendencies, but I don’t think that one has to believe in Jesus in order to be a better person. Whether one believes in Jesus or not, it is still difficult for humans to avoid sin. I strongly believe in “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” and that is because I am an empathetic person and I do not want to cause hurt or harm to people; it is my strong desire to act in this way and that is what drives me to try to avoid sin the way a believer in Jesus might use their beliefs as a motivating factor to try to avoid sin. In short, I don’t think it is necessary to believe in Jesus in order to try to live a moral life and avoid sin. You say “Now what kind of person would make false claims to Divinity? Only an evil or crazy person”, but you are talking as though “Divinity” is something proven and that it really exists. I can understand questioning it and thinking that maybe it is true, but you are talking about it as though you are 100% sure that it is true and then you are insulting people who don’t share your beliefs as “evil” and “crazy”, so, I think that you yourself have a limited view even though you told me that I had an “absurdly limited view” and called me “ignorant”, AND insinuated that I am “evil” and “crazy”. So you believe some things that HAVE NOT BEEN PROVEN, but anyone who actually takes the time and insight to question them is evil and crazy? I think you are believing these things too easily and the fact that you insult people who actually question things instead of easily believing things….well, I think that is a pretty limited view. As I stated before, I actually wish I believed as it would be really nice if these things were true, and if your beliefs make you happy, I am glad for you, and I wish you well.
