Although I am concernt about the difficult separation between both social aspects, I think that the comment has it's sense of an aesthethic question. Totally agree with you and Fisher. The jungle movement and the post-punk scene, plus the hip hop (etc) appeared as a doom enlightnment of what was misunderstood in the 70s and the 80s, maybe because of the material conditions, partly. But there's an intuitive pulse in me that makes me feel the need to say that there's a creative lack separated of the objetive-economical basis. What i mean can be resumed in this: how difficult is to do a 'new', or contemporáry jungle or breakbeat. A contemporáry Dub. It has its politoco-economical explanations, of course. But i think that Those are not fullfilling the question as to resolve it clear. I refer to what aura makes, to how big pieces affect. To its rareness, weirdness that makes em eerie and familiar at the same time.

That's amazing how Cartoon Network and Crunchyroll know who Burial are! I would've loved to hear this in the background of something or some promotion on Cartoon Network or something. That sounds fantastic!
