43 Stickies for the win!!! As an east coast wheeler, I will back you up on your thoughts. AND, as a Ford guy with a Coyote powered Wide Open Design LJ, I'll have your back on Ford as well. Just so you know, I have a 6.7 HO that is a towing dream and a pushrod 302 powered Scrambler...
You three had better keep doing these videos! You all make my day! You can always put three hospital beds and some oxygen tanks (don't confuse them with your welding gas) in the shop and call your channel Peck Brothers Rest Home. You'd still be funny as hell! Wrenchin' on your walkers! 24 hour Mailbox and Back! 😂😂
I’ve lost 2 of my brothers and have 1 remaining, and I honestly enjoy watching you guys vibe because it reminds me of what a real brotherhood is to its truest form. Peck brothers for life!
Super Swapers one of the old school off-road tire! At 15 years old i was working at a tire shop as part of my high school work experience! I got lucky and a fellow who deals with multiple car and truck support companies! I was building a 76 square body he got me hooked up with his buddies and they came in went through and came up with a plan for me and supplied me everything and their technicians to help me get it built in during the Christmas break!
You guys are awesome. I laugh my ass off every single time I watch one of your videos. I have been building rock crawlers for over 40 years and you guys build some awesome shit. I would just like you to see more extreme off road. You made the last 24 hours hell and back tons of fun.
Another great video. You keep us laughing with your antics. Looking forward to seeing how you did on the 24 hours to hell and back. Too bad y’all couldn’t get one more soft shackle in the wheel so you didn’t get stuck going first!!!
Number one fuel mileage. I have owned dodge or rams for 40+ years. I own 4 3500 right now from 90000 miles to 400.000 miles but I have 4 jeeps too. We love your videos and we have tow straps for your fords love you guys thank for all your hard work Don and Donna north idaho
Do yourselves a favor and next time you go out into the deep snow run some skinny tires. You are going to be blown away at how much more traction you get and you wont get stuck like you did in this video! Yea, they dont look as cool as super swampers but trust me, when it comes to getting out and around in deep snow and even mud, skinny tires are hands down unbeatable!
As far as the wood stove loss of heat, just make a 90° bend horizontal to close to the outside wall, then another 90° to vertical, back to above the stove, then back up to the roof outlet. That will decrease the heat loss drastically, without spending $800 for a heat recamamation device.
Love the videos I've been watching you guys since a couple hundred subs, you guys are so real and just having the best time with life. Thank you guys for giving me motivation to finish my ton swap and eventually a ls1 swap have the engine just need the extra parts now.
After spending a thousand dollars on a couple different stoves I Built a Double barrel 55 Gallon drum stove. I have drive shaft tubes going through from end to end on the top drum for heat exchange. Running a 3 speed exhaust fan from a Box truck on the back. Heats my shop up to 70 in No time.
The 10 speed was a ford gm joint venture and released the same time. However there are minor parts differences on a few things and ford saved a few cents and it has cost them more transmissions.
I’ve been a Mopar guy for life and still just subscribed due to your cool content. Year and a half ago became a Jeep owner with a JT and love it! Can’t disagree with using LS power due to the simplicity and part’s availability. Thanks for the video!
Got the T shirt the other day! That was fast delivery, thanks. So I came to the conclusion that the only child that your parents had, with all her brains is your sister! You brothers are crazy, but very entertaining! Love your channel!,
Try doing that with milestars 😂 Swampers have been the best and will be the best, but you’ll never beat a Dodge and there wouldn’t be a Ford, with that being said I’m still a fan of Ford as y’all are correct there terrific trucks.Love the channel and the brotherly love, the Jeeps are amazing rigs but y’all’s friendship and relationships are the most enjoyable to watch as it’s organic, wholesome and inspiring
I happen to have a beautiful 1978 F150 short bed 4WD with a 2002 (2 valve) 5.4L triton OD trans bolted to the original 205 & 9” on 37” pitbulls with 456 gears. It gets 14 miles to the gallon. It’s a great driving truck.
No matter what you guys do, it's always causing breakdowns, and, always entertaining! You really crack me up, but I'm easily amused...why in the world would you try to get such a massive Christmas tree with a small electric chainsaw?
I gotta say, I’ve only heard of you all before. After watching the 1st Hell and Back, I had to check out the channel. You guys are awesome. Definitely joined my top list of channels to watch!! Mostly consisting of who you all were wheeling with at Hell and Back.
well I hope you dont miss any videos because I always look forward to them but if you do have to miss just put up a rerun . its great to see brothers still doing things together . thanks for not banging on chevys to hard LOL I have a 2021 Colorado zr2 and I think its a pretty good truck but I do still have my dads 1988 f 350 with the 7.3 Des. and it still runs good and pulls any thing I have tried even my 35 ft cabin cruiser from Tennessee to Florida with no issues . have a good one and I will talk at you later .
Another great adventure with you guys….hopefully you work out a fan ride in the east some day. Those Warn premium hubs can be upgraded with 300m RCV gears and are damn near as strong as drive slugs put are still unlockable . I 100% agree with your choice of tires, rig engines and tow rig brands!
Watched the first episode of Hell and Back. Some good driving on your part. Agree all of the way with the LS swap. Did a 6.0 M715 on 42's, a 51 M38 with a 5.3 and 37's, and am working on a DODGE M37, yes Dodge, but with another LS. I have owned a couple 7.3 Powerstrokes, and rhey were great, but I prefer the Cummins 5.9 24 valve. Bought a couple shirts. Good stuff. Thanks guys.
The sticky SX’s are the best all around sticky tire out there in my mind. I wanted to be able to snow wheel and the reds are useless in the cold. The SX’s are tough as shit too.
The randomness of the RU-vid marketing Gods really nailed it today! First commercial after your video was for Ram trucks! Almost pissed myself laughing! F Ram! Ford First!! Keep living the dream and hope to catch y’all at an event this year! Wanted to make it happen at Trail Hero but it didn’t work out.
I thoroughly enjoy the video as usual you guys are fun to watch. I am a swamper guy I have had many sets over the last 25 years and I’m a Super duty guy as well. I think I’m on the same page as your dad and you boys👍. work hard wheel hard. Keep it up!
East Coast wheeling, our whole group is on 43 Stickies and it comes from the rock bouncer days! Sounds like after the LJ build there should be a Ford Motor Jeep Build..... Hardest wheeling right here in East TN, come see us!!!!
Great video! If you all get pulled over in a tow with that much weight you'll be in a world of hurt. Because RU-vid is your business you have to tow within the same limits as a business. If you all didn't know this already check into the requirements. Take care and all the best
You guys already have such a well put together channel. Soon this channel is going to blow up. Yall have the right combination of what makes it work. Can't wait to see where it goes. BTW if you guys need a project when your channel gets mega-big I have a '02 TJ, Just saying. hah
First saw you guys on 24hell and back. And I immediately commented to Marvin. That you guys better come to the off-road games cause your a riot. 😂 and you delivered. You guys made it awesome and I love your content.
What's up Peck's? I've seen 1 or 2 of your vids, but didn't really get to know what it's all about until this Q&A video. Thanks for that, I feel like we are family and keep killin it on the trails! Just subscribed!
Y'all could make wrenching vids about fixing the broke stuff, especially with the LJ having all those parts sitting gives you an excuse to work on it too
Have to correct you on the turbo diesel. Ford didn't put a turbo on a diesel pickup until 93 or 94 while dodge had a non intercooled turbo cummins in 1990. Also do a coyote swap! Comparing a 30 year old truck to a brand new one is also kind of funny. Take a 7.3 or 5.9 and put 80k into like what a new truck might cost and you'd possibly have a better truck.
I’ve only owned 1 ford truck and it was the 6.0L, and we all know how great those are 😂 But I for sure want to get another for truck one day. A 6.7L turbo diesel for sure!
Might be a dumb question but being from Tennessee I have been trying to figure out your use of the word "dean". "That's one dean of a tree". Never heard that word used other than the dean of a school. Where did "dean" come from and why is it used fairly frequently as an adjective. Love your channel guys! Keep up the awesome work!
swampers are known for there grab and release traction and what can cause braking stuff plus like point maid with the weight of them to it would really cool if made vid to try other tires specially with siping tires have made a lot of changes over years swampers havent made much changes over 20 years lol but agree they do look great
You folks seem to have the magic that works on camera. I don’t think this channel can’t grow especially if you folks are getting out as much as you are to the off-road games and he’ll and back.
the only reason the swap is so easy for the GM motor is because it has been around longer than yall have been alive the coyote is a new platform and is growing in popularity and the aftermarket is starting to grow also the godzilla motor is still new the software isnt quite there for them
