I would say definitely test the majority of at least your first batch. Being returns they could have any working to bad ratio. If you test and find a 95% working rate, probably good to sale as is from now on but if you find a 50/50 ratio, that many people mad at you can’t be good for business.

The fusion controllers would easily be Amazon flip. Same listing etc. the loose ones and headphones mix in lower end accessories into mystery boxes and of course add odd high end item to make it desirable

Sometimes, risks must be taken in order to tap new niches within the market one is known for. I think this was a very forward thinking buy. You stand to make your money back easily, but the profitability might be slower than expected... But it will very much come with a buy like this. Its a great step into pushing the markets and diving deeper into the game resale business!

sell completed tested stuff individually, split the rest into 1st party and 3rd party, fix what you can of the 1st and sell. joblot away the incomplete/broken 3rd party, Not worth the labour or your inventory space. time and space better spent sourcing more inventory 👍

I have sold the Xbox Fusion controllers before that were store returns and some that were sealed they did have a fairly decent sell through rate on eBay but that was back about a year ago now hope you guys do well on the pallets

I love the video and experimentation, but I am curious around why you guys decided to do this? It seems more than ever that you are valuing time, and having to test all of these seems like a giant time sink where that time could be better utilized elsewhere.

I think they are experimenting, especially with the majority turn to what not, and Amazon, I think they’re going to take some chances at other sourcing methods and can sacrifice a little testing time due to their speed in which they can move product

The RU-vid content will also mitigate some of that extra testing time. Quickly offload on WN then blow out the rest in as-is lots. Chase also mentioned probable future deals with that local liquidator. If Inventory is good on a first run it will most likely just get better. A good networking relationship is also very valuable.

My thoughts are you have a great name for selling good quality working software and hardware. Personally if I was getting a lot of one particular item in a returns lot,it is a red flag of it either something that breaks easily or has some other issue. Also interesting how you usually look down on 3rd party stuff when buying systems or in general, but you buy a huge pallet return of them.
