@@TheRideNut Thanks Dick. I ordered the plates and have been riding for about 2 years. Now the nut (11-7-11) that holds the clutch has stripped out. I ordered a new one and a washer (12-7-5) because my clutch didn't have one. What is purpose of the tab with small hole? Thanks again
@@strghtdn The tab with the small home is a mechanical "lock" to keep the nut from becoming loose. In practice, the 'tab' is bent up against a 'flat' on the nut, keeping to from turning loose. Most people do not have good tools and are unable to tighten the nut to 70 lbs/ft. torque. Any looseness in the nut allows the basket to move against the splines, and over time, the parts become badly worn and require replacement.
