Is there a modification for the reverse burpee? I can't get my feet back under me to push up to standing and end up losing form and compromising my knee. I stopped after 3 when I was feeling strain and did the rest as reverse crunches without coming up.

I so appreciate that they're not afraid to show that they're tired too - like Anna going to the modified push-ups at the end of the second round! It's discouraging if I feel like it's super difficult and they're hardly feeling it.
Indeed at that point I had already switched to modified and I was feeling bad that I didn't keep up till then end and then Anna just said too that she is switching to modified, wow I felt so motivated. Thanks ladies
Great workout but i definately didnt burn 400 calories, did the whole workout and did the intense versions and only burnt 276 calories. but great workout
I'm here because I'm in quarantine and I'm used to going to fitness classes. I LOVED y'all's energy!! It seriously motivated me--I almost lost it when y'all started making animal noises. Sometimes exercise needs to be silly! I also loved the reverse burpees. My balance is horrible, so I fell over multiple times, but I was having so much fun I didn't notice that my muscles were shaking until we moved on to the next exercise. I'd say I'm a pretty dang athletic and capable person, and this left me sweating and grinning. What's great about it is I can clearly see how people of all different fitness levels can get a lot out of it. Thanks, y'all, from 2020 ✌🏼
Burn 400 calories is very misleading. I burned 170. The moves are very basic and my heart rate didn't get very high. Not a difficult workout if you are in shape.
So this is so exciting for me....earlier this week i couldnt complete round 5 of the last round....well i love a challenge and this morning i completed all rounds whoop whoop!! Thanks for the motivation girls xx
Exactly what I needed after bussy day! Worked 8 hrs & 3 hrs of huge food prep BUT I still did this one. Super happy, sweaty and tired and PROUD! rest day tomorrow 😉
I've been doing a lot of PopSugar workouts in quarantine. This is definitely one of my favorites - it's difficult as heck, but with modifications it's achievable. I was in such good shape, and then i got covid and didn't exercise at all for a while. I'm just starting back in the last couple weeks, and today i made it through this whole workout again (with a few modifications but whatever) and I've never been more proud of myself
Ok, I did this workout and is a good workout but I hardly burned 187 active calories!!!! Too much focus at time on push ups, when she could had included some more cardio like skating, high knees... too long for 187 calories, plus the reverse burpees were not that effective and too many, 3 rounds of each is more than enough.
Put my fitbit on right before this and says I burned 444 calories and I only got 3 rounds each on the hardest level. Hope to work it up to 5 rounds in proper form.
Good workout, won’t destroy you, but will work you hard. I’m dripping sweat, but my tracker only showed 240 calories burned. Not sure how they’re estimating 400... maybe a bit more cardio to get your heart rate elevated at the start or beforehand might get you to 400, but it took until 20 mins in for my heart rate to go up and stay up. PS I work out 5-6 times a week, so maybe that’s why I didn’t find it as challenging.

I love Popsugar workouts!! However, this one I tracked my calories burned and only burned 100 calories and I never took a rest period and did the hardest version+made it harder.
I did the modified version of the workout and my Apple watch still showed I burned 230 calories! Such a great workout! 5/19 Update: Did half of the advanced moves this time and burned 201 calories!
The instructor is amazing. She is so friendly and makes you feel like you can do it no matter what. I really don’t want to work out with anyone but her.
Popsugar is god sent for ppl like me who is really uncomfortable working out in public places and trying to stay under the budget but keep healthy lifestyle
I absolutely loved this workout but unfortunately the backwards burpee really hurt my tailbone. Even the modification DID NOT work for me. I switched to a reagular push-up burpee. Did anyone else have the same experience?
Yeees, my tailbone is so annoying, it gets bruised a lot while doing excercises like this. For this one I used a shallow pillow and it helped a lot keeping my tailbone safe. (Also it made a bit easier rolling back up.)
I love this one, the moves are so easy to adjuct to my skill level (I have no abs lol) and I feel like I just ran 5 miles but it wasnt as bad on my knees
Holy shit. I just did this workout and it was intense. I honestly think my own body weight is too much on my knees and elbows at this time. Too many planks. Not good on the knees and I couldn't quite keep up for a 200 lb. Lady but I completed it and got an intense 😓 sweat. Never again though. Not for me. Thanks. At least I gave it my all.
UPDATE: I'm now about 4 weeks in, and I increased it to 16 reps per move. I'm able to get it all done in about 30-32 minutes with a 30 second rest between circuits. I used my Fitbit today to track my calories, and got to 200 for a 5'5'' female, 126 lbs.
It feels wow after doing dis I have lost 10 kgs with the help of this videos thank-you so much for posting this This workouts r now part of my daily routine 👍

Great workout! But for anyone who was wondering, I actaully burned 250 calories according to my apple watch so don't take 400 for granted. We all burn differently!
Same over here, I did all the advanced moves but only burnt 250 according to my fitbit charge 2. Great full body workout, just not quite as challenging as I'd expected.
I wore my HR monitor and I only burned 270 calories. BUT, this was a great workout! I've been working out regularly for 10 years and am my ideal weight, so I think that's why my calorie burn was so low. This did kick my butt! Works your lower body and upper body and will have you sweating! Highly recommend.
I really like this workout, but as for "doing it after running", ahhh, I don't know for any of you guys, but as far as I'm concerned, that is not happening. I'm happy getting through just the workout as it is! :D
💪🏾 What a workout! 😅 I was sweating buckets! It was challenging, but with the modifications it's achievable! Round 2 was the most intense! After all those push-ups, my arms feels like jello! The reverse burpee was difficult for me, but I manage it to get through it! 🔥 I burned 356 calories! 40 minutes goes by fast! I pushed through and now I am so proud of myself for getting it done! Ive been doing this workout full out 2-3 times a week for 6 months now.. It got to the point now I incorporate weights and booty bands. People think I compete lmao. THIS WORKOUT IS GOLD.
I love popsugar!! But I found this workout a tad boring and also, I CAN NOT do the reverse burpies. My tummy gets in the way....so I found it a little defeated :-(. Needs a more doable modification.

This is my favorite POPSUGAR workout so far (done about 6). I love all the instructors, but this video is special because I know exactly what I need to accomplish and I can pause the video if I need more time to do my 10 reps. No more skipped exercises because I needed a breather while the coach was still going = no excuses!!!
I cannot believe i actually finish this workout. I have been doing popsugar workout for a month now and i'm getting stronger day by day. Previously i couldn't even finish a 10 min workout, slowly i did for 15 min then 20 min, 30 min and now 40 min. thanks guys you are a life changer!

I did a lot of them and I wanted to share with you my modification for the push up & shoulder tap: I did a negative push up, drop on my knees to press back up with my arms and get back on toes just in time for shoulder tap. (so I droped on my knees just to help me get back in push up position before shoulder tap!) thank you very much for all your great work Anna! :)

I have to admit, this was not my favorite - particularly the third round. I do not like reverse burpees. I did quick burpees with jump instead. I felt like the tricep push-ups (even with alternating) could have been swapped out for something else entirely. I burned a little less than 200 calories, and I weigh 123.
I just watched this, looks tough, I would be willing to try in AM...Just trying to find new things to do. Consider myself in good shape even through corona, I'm 55, will have to modify the reverse burpees. Just looking for other workouts to try at home.
I'm i supposed to be dying? I just finshed and i am ok. My inner thighs hurt me alot but i was never out of breath. I'll try to engage my abs more and go deeper in the push ups. ( i can't do regular push ups yet) . I'll do this workout a couple times a week so i can get stronger on my arms though!!
Selin Bilgi I run for 15 - 30 minutes before the exercise .. and I played alot of videos on this channel not just this .. I also eat well now and watch what I eat .. thats all .. actually now I have lost 19.5 pounds 😁 If you want any questions or help just ask 😄
I've done this workout a few times, and I like it (except for the Reverse Burpees, but I replace those with squats). However, I accidentally tweaked my left middle back doing the "lunge and twist" motions in the second circuit. I did some first aid on it and now it feels better, but this wasn't normal soreness from getting used to exercising after living a sedentary lifestyle. I exercise regularly, and I'm only 34, so there might be other people who've had the same problem.
This really helped since I am doing online school due to the Coronavirus. I am supposed to get 20 minutes of physical activity a day and to be honest, I am kind of an overachiever. Usually, I go outside and jog or bike but today is really snowy and cold so I was able to get 40 minutes of physical activity to put on my exercise catalog. So thank you!
Made it to the end. My gosh, 3 & 50 was a tough one, but You can do it. I did lots of switching to modification & regular, sometimes trying the advance version. Just try to stick with them to the very end. The stretches are my favorite!!!. I'm sweaty & super challenged through this 40 minutes of workout. Thank you Anna & PopsugarFitness.

It was amazing workout, I sweated like I was swimming with them push ups... I recommend doing this 5 times a week I helped me loose 5 pounds for 4 weeks if doing it..
I know this video is a year old but did the workout for the first time last night... awesome! Feeling the affects of it this morning. Especially my triceps and bum.
