I too think this time of year is perfect for cozy scents like Marshmallow fireside, cashmere, hot cocoa, pancakes, muffins, french toast, coffee scents, etc. So that's what I've been warming. What weird weather we are having though. Nothing like -4 to 65 in about 2 weeks! My bulbs and perennials are so confused 😆 Have a great day! ❤
Hey girl, how is your New Years going? I'm ready to be done with January because that means one more day closer to spring. Wonder if Punxy Phil won't see his shadow? Sure hope so! Guess what, I have daffodils peaking through the soil. I guess they are hardier and this is their growing season. LOL, I have no green thumb...none at all.

I’m finishing some tree scents from Christmas ( KC Blue Spruce, Winter Evergreen) and a KC Milk and cookies as well as YC Red Apple Wreath and White Christmas- I rotate them and I am lamping the last one. Hopefully will move on to KC Peppermint Cocoa soon as it’s a favorite of mine ❤
I'm late to the party but Happy New Year's! Nice scents to get through the winter. Milk and cookies I'm sure smells delightful. I'm ready for some chocolate and berry scents for February. One of these days I want to make a road trip to MA to the Kringle store. I'm so hesitant to buy without smelling and they have some great smelling candles.

Hey Gretchen! HAPPY NEW YEAR! I have finally found my way back to RU-vid and I am catching up on my videos. I have been so out of it. Losing my mom in July really took a lot out of me and its still very hard. I had stopped watching RU-vid and just tried to get through each day. Your burn and melt videos are my favorite!!!! I always get inspiration from your wonderful collection of candles. I can't believe you still have the wax melt I sent you from Britta's Wax...LOL. I am actually burning and melting scents from last year and the year before. I have not purchased any new candles in a while, but that is getting ready to change...LOL! Last summer before my mom passed I had started creating candles and wax ....jus t to see if I could do it and everything turned out pretty good, so I definitely plan to do more of that this year. I did not make any New Year Resolutions........ I do have a few goals, and one of those goals is to go hard and heavy with my RU-vid channel. Its been at least two yeas since I posted a video. My goal is to start posting this summer (June). I finish school in May and we will probably move this Spring.....so waiting until the summer will allow me to focus on RU-vid and not be distracted with everything else. I also have a goal of more healthy eating...... I do okay but I would love to do better. I hope that the New Year is being good to you. Hello sweet Alisha! Hey, I completely understand with priorities and you need to do what you need to do and that is take care of you! I too have slacked greatly with You Tube, mostly out of my own lack of motivation and thinking that I will get around to it but I don't. I'm planning my comeback too so we can be successful together. I look forward to being your first customer if you decide to sell your wax :) Haha, the peppermint gingerbread man. I broke him into five pieces and enjoyed over two melts. I'll admit, I shouldn't have waited that long but I still got some scent. I've been trying to work through all this old wax so I don't feel guilty if I buy more. LOL. I never feel guilty!! Oh the New Year...I love to eat and never make that promise to myself. The only time I was successful, gave up drinking so much Coke and became a coffee drinker with no fancy. Plain and simple and now I can only drink my coffee plain. I would never keep a coffee shop in business because I don't like lattes, frappes or whatever those fancy drinks are called. Whew! Happy New Year Gretchen! Delicious picks as usual! I actually burned Gingerbread Maple all day today and it was so yummy. I’ve had it a couple years now but it still smelled great…I tried to melt a few Candy Cane Lane votives I had cut up awhile back but those were a no go. The scent changed to a weird waxy chocolate smell if that makes sense! Lol I would love to see a wax cutting video from you again:)
Hope you are having a wonderful start to your New Years! Oh girl, I should have made a video of my BBW Hot Cocoa candle that arrived broken. It chopped up rather well but I had to close my eyes when I was pulling the glass off. Yessss....I'm going to break out ALL my candy cane and cotton candy votives and split them for melts. It makes for a fun video. Something cathartic playing with wax. Know exactly what you mean about peppermint smelling like chocolate. Some of wallflowers that are minty would smell like that too. Oh I miss electrical outlets. More than one per room would be delightful in this old house.
