Tip: instead of destroying a perfectly good candle just use a super slim 'birthday candle'. You won't even have to extract the thin layer of wax and still have a stiff (not flimsy) wick. 😊👍🏽
I made a mixture using edible vinegar with a handful of cloves . Placed them in the kitchen. Never saw cockroaches anymore. Excellent repellent. 🌏🌞🍀🐞🙏🌱🎊
Wow 🤩 did you keep cloves in a jar/bowl ? Or randomly placed them ? Chicago ❤ getting ahead of Summer , Condominium life getting hectic , Condo not conning 😡
I spray along all my baseboards either concentrated cinnamon oil mixed with some water or concentrated peppermint oil mixed with some water. I have also purchased a ready made cedar oil spray as well. Eucalyptus oil is great too. But both the cinnamon and peppermint mixtures are effective, and I often mop my floors with them. Makes the apt smell wonderful. I keep the cinnamon mixture in a red spray bottle and the peppermint mixture in a blue spray bottle. I live in an old inner city apt in Manhattan and if these mixtures work here, they’ll definitely work anywhere. ❤💙
Yep. . It does in reality Depend on wich Country You are in. . & In wich AreA. Adjustments . . It sure is so. That's why. . . Look at the locals behaviours. . That is the fastest way to learn. How to behave. . Around and with them 🤗💞🤗⚧️♀️🌀🦋🍂👀🤣💞💖💝💖🙏🌟🌈☀️
I’m not the commentator, but she used: Ground coffee Star Anise (a spice used at Christmas bc it smells really good). Cloves Black Vanilla (Mexican version) White Vinegar Mint Oil ( expensive!) If this really works, it would be amazing, but probably more than just using a really good extermination product from Home Depot imo. Bugs don’t like Vinegar so I always have a bottle of 1c vinegar/ 1 c water in a spray bottle which gets sticky so I would only use on the baseboards, garage, outside doors and windows. The smell of vinegar detracts bugs, but so does Mint Oil. Hope this helps….from Aspen, Colorado ⛄️☃️🦟
TIP: Vanilla extract is an alcohol base, so make sure you are home and don't leave with it burning or you could burn you're house down. I worked in an ER. Alcoholics drink Pure Vanilla Extract because it's high in alcohol content. Read the label next time you shop, you'll be surprised at how high it is.
I was in a detox facility and your 100% right about alcoholics drinking vanilla extract they'll drink any extract they would take the RUBBING ALCOHOL PADS and put them under their tongue 😛 as well so the RAs wouldn't catch them drinking
Amen and Bless your heart for saying that 🙏. She should clean her house and she won't have flies, mosquitoes, and cockroaches 😂. Some people are just ridiculous.
@@sandrarivera8374 ... okay...I get it... She should clean Her house... But Just in Case...U can Also Pray that infestation OUT.. if that's what is happening...Try Mathew 17:20 Google it...or even How To Pray Mathew 17:20 I Bet they have Some Good ones. God bless you. Amen 🕊️🔥🕊️
Thank you for letting us know. I couldn't figure out what the label on the bottle because she was shaking it and couldn't tell what it was she added in the bowl.
You people keep saying that she's shaking 🫨 which isn't correct!. The video is playing at a faster speed. To solve this problem, just pause the video 📹at the right time to find whatever you're trying to read. Problem solved 😌 👌🏿.
Also we use bitter lime tree's leaves with gum stones powder mix it wit any strong smelling oil like eucalyptus mix well. Make small sticks or round tabs, burn it. It will evacuate the mosquitos. Natural best remedy is also good for breathing.
Hey folks, why is the name on the bottle in the presentation not showing and appearing to be deliberately hidden? Perhaps it's to avoid giving free promotion to the brand name of the ingredient producer, since the content is not sponsored by them. Elsewhere in the comments section, a smart viewer revealed the name as Mexican vanilla extract, while another suggested that what the narrator's voice sounded like "smell nails" is actually Star anise Interestingly, one commenter also proposed that "smell nails" is a mispronunciation of "smell nice", which was the intended meaning of the fragrance of the ingredient in the repellant recipe. Someone else even suggested that this video might have been AI-generated due to the vocal distortion and mispronunciation. Additionally, a kind and helpful commenter summarized the ingredients as follows: Ground coffee, Star anise, Cloves, Any mint or essential oil. The most important thing is to experiment and see what works. Just be careful and stay safe.
Sounded unmistakenly like an AI voice to me. I think "it" did it intentionally to get people to watch over & over, frustratingly trying to capture a view of the missing ingredient. More views = more credits, $, etc.
From reading the comments I see the recipe also includes Mexican dark vanilla extract. I personally would use clove powder or grind the cloves and grind the Star Anise.
Almost nobody understood all "ingredients" used for this repellent! Would you please write down here absolutely all ingredients in these repellent recipe, please!?

@@pratimaghai5185 Because the smell will cause breathing attacks. also Air freshener and scented candles can to. The breathing attacks can be severe requiring a hospital.
Also if you have pet birds in your home do not use these mixtures; the odours and smoke could kill your pet birds. Remember the facts regarding coal miners and canaries in the mine, how sensitive the birds are to gases. Many times by dying from gas in the air canaries saved the miners lives indicating that the air had became toxic and the miners must get out of the mine quickly.
It looked like she added water frm that clear bottle too but that wouldn’t help it burn?! Definitely bad translation and not enough info for liquid ingredients
The videos are definitely missing some subtitles that include ingredients. Amounts would be helpful, too. Also, why not buy some wicks instead of destroying a candle?
B/c she was using a candle that had warped and she wouldn’t have been to burn it anyway. I’m sure the wax was saved, melted and reused. 😊 You’re right about the subtitles, ingredients & amounts! It’s my biggest peeve on here. It may be b/c of the amount of followers it can draw when there’s a lot of questions. IMO, having a video that is interesting, informative & thorough, would command more likes, more shares, therefore, a bigger draw.
@@angelagregory3300 It is possible to gently warm the wax of a candle and straighten it. It won't be perfect but usuable. Also, it is not the first time she stripped a candle of the wick. Just saying and not arguing. ;-)
I boil cloves and cinnamon sticks and water for a few minutes. Leave it to steep for a few days. Strain. Pour strained moxture into spray bottle and use everywhere. No more pests. Cheap and smells divine! 😊
Can or should you use instant coffee? Or only regular coffee will work? And will regular vanilla extract do? Asking for a friend 😅😂. Some one suggested just use a professional exterminator. May be cheaper as expensive as vanilla extract is here in good ol ‘Merica that’s literally being invaded as I write. ✍️ Sold out by our own government. Sorry guys, but I am very frustrated with what’s going on here.
You are not alone. Also, none of this makes sense. American citizens being ignored by OUR GOVERNMENT, for people who are not even vetted. This has, “I’m going to come back to bite everybody in the butt”, written all over it. It cannot end well. For us.
Ingredients: does she start with used coffee grounds that’s why they need drying? Why not chop up a stem of raw vanilla? White vinegar? Oil? Which one? Wicks are available by themselves.
Vanilla beans are extremely expensive! Wicks can only be purchased in packs, not singly, so this saves money as well! If you pause the video, you can read Vanilla Extract. She used the Mexican variety, but any will do.
An expensive way to drive away mosquitoes and flies. Cloves & star anise don't come cheap. Imagine the cost if this needs to be done everyday in every room of the house.
TIP: Vanilla extract is an alcohol base, so make sure you are home and don't leave with it burning or you could burn you're house down. I worked in an ER. I didn’t understand star anise? Also didn’t get the liquid you added at the end because you shake the bottle so I can’t read it. I LOVE your hints so please tell me and keep up the great hacks!❤
Thank you I'll try it. I knew to burn coffee outside when having food outside it repells pests. Also essential oils mint all peppermint eucalyptus and others, repell ants flies etc. Love bernadette xox ❤❤❤
@@joshmcown6840 These spices are not good for dogs or cats. I wouldn't do this. I just hit the flies and mosquitoes with a fly swatter! And my terrier loves to catch bugs!
Well theres a place called supermarket that has all of these things, just one problem....you need something called money to have it in your possession.
I couldn't even tell what the last handful of stuff was or fastest the finished integrated mixture. And what was in the small bottle you added before you lit the wick? Lastly, what are you saying near the end "smell nails" ? What is that?
Regular coffee . Never tried instant but instant smells very different than real coffee! And I tried instant coffee my best work for it is 🤮 YUCK. It had a weird taste 👅 and smell. Use regular coffee imo
💜🙏💚 Incense also works just as well, for keeping those common garden pests at bay provided there is sufficient ventilation, and of course NO UNDERLYING lung or sinus conditions !!! $2:50 - $3:50 per pack in Australia 🇦🇺
Did y'all REEEALLY hear her at the beginning? "Burn this in your house, and you will never see more flies, mosquitos, and cockroaches." Kinda sounds like it's supposed to call them until later in the video. 😂 😂
Let the mixture Dry? I didn’t see her use any liquid 🤷🏽♀️. Quite confusing. And have anyone tried this? Does it work? I heard roaches love the smell of coffee. ☕️
