Let me tell you guys a secret nigerians wont tell you, nigerian artists are not even trying to compete with american artists or anyone in the world. They just concentrate on surpassing their previous achievements
This Logic guy is right. There are not many Ghanaian songs around. And also he’s right about Ghanaians having complex and too laid back. Confidence rand swagger is a natural thing for Nigerians. Once you see us, it’s so easy to differentiate from the rest of Africans. Facts!
Not every Ghanaian lucks confidence and the fact that you people are on top doesn’t mean we are cowards,if that’s ur point then Nigerians has been cowards for a very long time becos they recently got up there, where was their confidence??F*ck off lil goat 🐐
@@kontoncci7996 Almost all your people have attested to this fact. Try and go outside ghana to see what is happening. Your people are filled with low self esteem and pull him down mentality.
If they book him for the next nfl Super Bowl ,that would be the biggest world stage event yet for him. At this rate that he’s going, I won’t be surprised at all. He’s right now the biggest African artist, and one of the biggest in the world easily, hands down.
Burna wasn't there as an African artist o. He was there as one of the most talked about global performer. 9:10 is the most beautiful nonsense you will hear today
Big up to our Ghanaian brothers always wracking nerves analysing this age long Nigerian ~ Ghanaian Afrobeat or music topic. The fact is Ghanaian music can overtake any genre when the right time. comes. Let's take it easy, continue to celebrate and love our black achievements and culture regardless who pioneers what. Love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
The only reason why they identify the Afrobeats and Afrobeat genre with Nigeria is because it's a Nigerian creation, the whole of africa wants it now and jump on the Afrobeat train because it's finally global. What we hear now is for all Africa nah brah stick to yours and let us own ours.
As a Nigerian, I have never loved or liked Mr Logic. But today, methinks he makes a lot of sense in his submission. I believe, Sammy Flex is watching, I believe Sammy Flex can up the standard of his beer parlour presentations courtesy of this content.
Same here, before logic speaks I was expecting him to say trash 🗑️ but he blows my mind. For Sammy flex he is just a funny man that is still living in denial!
Baba said today that is too late for Ghanaian to go bk to hip life... And he wants his country to be recognised... He can't learn They should bring him here to lecture him
My brothers, you guys have to understand that afrobeats gets its flavour from the mixture of the Nigerian languages mostly Yoruba as well as the general Nigerian pidgin and accent. Nigerians and Ghanaians don't sound alike when we speak that's why even if a Ghanaian were to sing all of Burna Boy, Wizkid, P2 or Davido's songs it won't sound similar. It's only a Ghanaian that grew up in Nigeria with the Nigerian accent that can replicate this very well. And this is the flavor the whole world have come to embrace. Apart from the hard work Naija artists put in, the accent matters and you can't take that away from the equation.
That guy is right.. Melodies are the main selling point of nigerian music and also the beat. thats why you have the likes of ed sheeran using our melodies
@Merigini Abel That Cyril dude was really feeling himself, believing his own crap analysis as to why Burna was selected 😂😂😂😂. How embarrassing. His angle to the whole thing was just lame. Absolute garbage.
These guys and lamba are like 5&6. Nigerian young people are making waves all over the world, Ghanaians want to “Africanize” or “denigerianize” it. They will try all they can to avoid the name “Nigeria” when it comes to good thing. But if it happens to be Ghanian, it won’t be “Africanized” o, it’d be a Ghanian thing. I just the laugh them- I’m glad we Nigerians have grown beyond this pettiness. We don’t crave the world’s attention. The world appreciates our authenticity- the world knows authenticity when it sees it.
Don't mind them. They think we are stupid. A Ghanaian on that stage will carry his flag and his people will be shouting gHaNa tO tHe wOrLd to separate dem from everyone. Now dey want to do gumbody. Africa una
exactly, I wrote the exact same thing a couple of months ago. Ghana is so desperate for attention and recognition. Have you seen the way their artists carry their flag when performing abroad? it is embarrassing, you can tell they want the world to know - we are from Ghana..🤣. Also, when Nigeria achieves something great, they say this is good for Africa. If it is someone from Ghana, although rare, they will say - Ghana to the world..
Ghanaians thinks if the use all thier power and defeats Nigeria in a football match the feels the are better than Nigeria in all aspects.... One they need to learn that we don't take them seriously... U put our efforts to conquer the world.
@@mosesshichet5475 Did they defeat? It was all draw in both legs, decided by away goal rule. I’ve noticed that if the Super Eagles play Ghana, our guys play it like every other game (in their usual sluggish manner). But the Ghanaians play it like their lives depend on it. They see it as a match for bragging rights, but our guys nor send. Dem just Dey play jeje dey go. More like a younger sibling always trying to prove a point to an unconcerned older and more powerful sibling.
FYI, for those saying the Super Bowl would be the biggest height , just so you know that champions league viewership is higher than superbowl estimates over 450 million views
Burna is a hottest global ambassador for Pepsi at the moment, when it comes to entertainment. So it only makes sense he was chosen to perform. It's a win win for both parties involved.
Burna, Anita...those are two if the biggest global music stars now. Of course Afrobeats is such a force now and fast establishing as one of the biggest genres. Every sport is looking to expand around the globe
Ghanaian artists need to travel outside Ghana to see how the test of Africa think their music is ass, they stay in their villages and think the US and UK must accept their stinky music
You can modernise highlife actually and the world will love it. Afrobeats is Nigerian oh, its a culture thing so you cant do it like the Nigerian. Its a Nigerian culture and rythm
The level we are now as Nigerian, we know Ghanaians are trying to avoid the name (NIGERIA) they rather used Africa. Social media really exposed Ghanaians hypocrisy
The answer is simple!. The label is working. Burna Boy has a label that’s doing all the work for him. All he does is to focus on his act & that’s the results we’re seeing. Moving forward, our Ghanaian artistes shld work hard & attract the big record labels & we shall see their progress.
To be signed by the biggest labels, u need to be talented and know ur craft. Ghanaians talk about Nigerians musical success but refusing to acknowledge their efforts particularly their talents. Always trying to downplay their success only to population and plug-in which smirks of hatred and bad belle like our people calls it. The earlier they appreciate good works , the better.
The new Grammy category for African music will give more room for artistes to be themselves because more African genres are the prerequisites of the category along with Afrobeat. Even more Nigerians will rejoice.
Wait please, the definition of afrobeats clearly states it’s a fusion of highlife, juju,Fuji, funk, jazz and most importantly Yoruba music….so why is it a surprise that the Nigerian afrobeats is the original,it’s from Nigeria of course, fela kuti the originator of afrobeats is Yoruba
@@valentineanthony5615Yoruba's have produced the biggest musician in Nigeria from time in memorial. Afrobeats is created by a Yoruba man "Olufela Ransome Kuti" Davido, Wizkid, Kizz Daniel, Tiwa savage, Fireboy Dml etc are all Yoruba's. Not to say the other tribes are not producing good music.
@@margaretwumi751 Oga go and carry cup. Na this una tribal nonsense dey make person dey suffer for this country. Always looking at individuality. If other tribes in Nigeria start reasoning the way you do towards our music we won't get to where we're today.
Na Nigerians dey perform worldwide na Ghanaians dey analyse. Y'all analyse to much. Allow your musicians breath, dont suffocate them with this unwarranted comparison all the time😩
Please join Ghanaian piggin und local language like we nigerians do but pure Afrobeats and Amapiano songs mix. Guys let's build on Afrobeats first to make Africa great. Love your channel ❤
You guys will just open mouth and be saying printing money . just printing money . Do you think they just print money like that? Lets try to sound professional .
It never occurred to Ghana and other Africans that have a problem with Nigerians Afrobeats success to break through. No one complained when the whole of Africa was playing 50 cents 24/7. Nigerians broke through and then boom! The bitching , the envy and the jealousy came. They would have been okay if African entertainment had remained midiocre. No one could make Africans cool except Nigerians and yet they are not grateful
It seems this is a typical problem with Black peoples or Africans to be precise. They would rather be happy that they and the rest of the others fail together than to see others being successful
Headies has an international act category And Chris brown won the last one,he won it ahead of Ed Sheeran and the rest that were nominated in the category! Please do your research
As painful as it was to hear, Mr Logic was straight forward and blunt 😤😤 whatever comes out of 🇬🇭 would be called Afrobeats... change of name/genre wouldn't change the audiences 🤔🤔
@ Uwem Udoh You see that right there is my greatest fear 😨 for the Afrobeat genre, because those Ghanaians don't do very good music but for whatever reason, they keep hyping up themselves as this nature's gift for music to the world. If truth be told, 99.9 % of their songs are trash 🗑. Now my point is, them riding on the Afrobeat wave could dampen the vibe as audiences may start to feel there's a drop in quality all because of these Banku Republic people infiltrating the genre with their wack artists and songs. Abeg make them go do their own thing. And please don't say Highlife because that's not theirs either.
All your suggestions are wrong about burna boy jay folie , I believe You and your panel didn’t do your homework well. What I’m about to say It’s not speculation I have the answer to your question and it’s very simple, and it is the fact not an assumption, it is so simple to know that Burna Boy was billed to perform at the football finals because the main sponsor of the UFA FIFA champions league, was Pepsi and Burna Boy as an international Pepsi contract, so if Pepsi is the main and official sponsor ,why the hell wouldn’t they bring their brand pepsi Ambassador which is Burna Boy to perform,it’s Just a simple fact
Ghanaians need to change their official language to Yoruba. They will get better in Afrobeat 😂😂😂. That is the “plags” they need as you say it Ghananian accent.
Bro, they don't know that the success of afrobeats is rooted in Naija lingua especially Yoruba as well as our general Naija accent. It won't go well with their Twi or Ghanaian accent. I don't know why they can't figure this out. We don't sound alike and afrobeats is a reflection of the Nigerian accent .
*Plags* hehehehe. Can’t help thinking that *Plags* thing sounds exactly like what I hear whenever Olele attempts to say *Plugs* . Ghanaians! They make me giggle and it's so hard to stop.
Jealousy go kill Ghanian critics. Cameroon done pass you already with Libianca. They are playing Libianca’s music on the radio here in Atlanta. Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy neva reach American radio. Work harder instead of hating Ghana🇬🇭. South Africa and Cameroon are already passing you jejely lol
Regarding the rise of football ⚽️ in the United States, it is important to note that it is because of the swerve in the overall population of the United States! It is not necessarily because Americans themselves have abandoned their own traditional sports and embraced soccer! The influx of Hispanics people going into the United States is a huge factor! People from Colombia, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Panama, El Salvador and Mexico have crossed over to the United States in the last 30 years! All come from soccer playing countries! Indeed the Hispanic/Latino population in the USA stands at about 65 million people, that is 20 million people more than native born Black Americans! It is actually because of these immigrants from Central and South America that the Lionel Messis of this world can be lured to the MLS! When you add the the nearly 4 million (football loving) African migrants in the United States, it explains why our type of football has soared up the American sporting charts!! My two cents! Do take note! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!
The lady, Madam please... Afrobeats is a Nigerian culture. The Americans and the whole world know that Afrobeats is a Nigerian because Afrobeats is a Nigerian Music Genre. Only Nigerian artists do Afrobeats. It's our culture. Any Afrobeats sound should be a Nigerian Pidgin English, Nigerian Native Languages Especially Yoruba Language. So Afrobeats is a Nigerian culture. Some people mistakenly called those few Ghanaian artists Nigerians because their songs sound Nigerian. They sing in Nigerian pidgin English and also do Nigerian Afrobeats that's why.
UEFA is in Europe but yheir market in worldwide, countless africans play in europe, numerous africans also watch the games so UEFA knew exactly what they were doing.
Olele always dey talk about alternative 😂. Alternative music isn’t what drives culture. Mainstream music does. Let’s sell our local sound to the world. Let’s look at music from a culture perspective not just the cool factor.
