A scientific explanation to this would be because of the gasoline. Dousing wood in gasoline will create a layer of "shield", rather than burning it. Another factor would be how the wood was polished with anti-fire polish. Even though all that explanation exists, the wood on the video got roasted aswell (MADE THIS UP IM TRYING TO GET AN A ON MY TEST OKAY)
