Real Rootsman inda place here. Wiston Rodney is absolutely amazing live. He makes sounds of animals in the wild, Melodies are beautiful and conscious lyrics. Truly a great contribution to reggae roots.
My Dearly Beloved Brother, Burning Spear, I really love this song. I play it at least once each month. The fight is on in America to change Columbus Day to Native American Day. It has been passed in several jurisdiction already. I wrote a poem about the song and just submitted it to a poetry contest. Wish me the best in winning the contest. I feel really blessed about it. Have an awesome day and God's Blessings Always My Dearly Beloved Brother!

I played this song as a warm up activity for my 9th grade students to analyze before starting an inquiry based debate about whether Christopher Columbus should be remembered as a hero or a villain.
Christopher Columbus ! That great travel explorer in the America ! History books will never forget Columbus ! Yes he is a LION ! Thanks Burning Spear for the respect !
Agradeço à natureza por mim fazer, para presenciar ainda em vida o que ela tem de melhor, suas belezas e o grau de grandeza para nos deixar alegres felizes com jóias que só cabe nos corações de quem é humano de verdade!
Yess Tery C..the message from mr Burning Spear is the truth...Thats why you get the degree....blessings. A Treu Soldier of Yahweh...Peace & Love..Respect & Honour.
@@robbieperotti2851 The message is true, indeed. Columbus didn't discover Jamaica but there wasn't any Black people in Jamaica either. The first slaves were trade by Sir Walter Raleigh and bit later by Sir Francis Drake (who later freed them to use them as first line of attack against a Spanish colony in modern Panama). Sorry, I forget the name of the town in question.
