Most of the abusers are men (not all but most) and Korea really seems like a good ole boys club. If you have money and a dick then you are untouchable. The system is so sexist that these men want to sympathize with the abuser.. maybe hey consciously or unconsciously want to protect those lenient laws in case they end up in a similar situation. Or maybe they just think so little of women that they can't fathom the concept of consent.

One thing I really want to mention: Sulli was hated so much to the point where if you interact with her or you show that you're close to her in public you'll also get hated. Sulli's "friends" distanced themselves from her because of this. Hara was one of those people who weren't afraid to show her friendship with Sulli and I always thought it was kind, nice, and brave of her.

that's very true. I remember the video of sulli, hara, gain and gdragon at the amusement park, just the four of them. They were spotted taking pictures and having a great time. The sightings were uploaded on multiple knetz platforms and people shit on all four of them. It was disgusting. They said "끼리끼리 노네 ㅋ“ meaning messed up people are friends with other, messed up people. Gain too was a victim of an abusive relationship, almost forced to do drugs. I feel bad for all of them, and I feel especially bad for gdragon and gain. Their best friends left them in such a short span.

@nalaa9618
@nalaa9618 Месяц назад
it´s not though. It´s a small fraction. The real reason is the government not giving enough free time, expects to much and high education for kids is too expensive. I get what you want to say, but pls don´t spread a false narrative. This situation with burning sun is horrible, but not the reason behind the super small percentage of 4B and not the reason why women can´t start a family.
@norimeowmeow
@norimeowmeow Месяц назад
@nalaa9618 I'm sorry; I didn't explain what I meant very well at all and I apologize. What I meant to say is that the mens' attitudes in this case - from the criminals to the police to the judges - is a representation of the Korean cultures view on women. Now obviously the men in the this case are an exaggerated example, but it is still ingrained in Korean culture that women are supposed to always submit and "let the men win". I have family and friends (I'm Korean) who claim they are "progressive" and still seem to think this way. It's so frustrating and I don't blame women for wanting to stay single and childless so they don't have to deal with this crap attitude and be treated like second rate citizens.
@missmilan7618
@missmilan7618 Месяц назад
@@nalaa9618 It has been informed that the 4B movement is actually bigger than what is known due to many feminist and 4B members being in fear of retaliation. There are several cases of those who are open about women's issues getting fired/harassed at their jobs, getting their ip exposed and even experiencing outright assault. It doesn't help that the gender wage gap is at 30%- and hiring is biased, they literally CANNOT afford to be fired. And that's the tip of the iceberg. It's sad but true,it's a big risk to be in any kind of relationship with a man so i can only imagine why a lot are choosing not to reproduce hence the decline in birthrates. BUT K-POP FANS omgggg they’re blaming 2 women who worked with a photographer who (2 YRS LATER) was exposed as a predator, blaming the 2 girls that he took photos of years ago??? saying they’re supporting **xual harassment ??? HOWEVER THE EXACT SAME COMMENTERS refuse to believe their delusion of this human that they’ve created in their heads (and the whole industry & culture of k-pop has created) IS NOT THE REAL HUMAN, not A human at all actually. it’s a facade crated by the industry and portrayed by the idol and just exaggerated and emphasized by the fans and their delusional obsession.

It was my dream to visit Korea and I had even applied and got accepted to a university there (but I didn't end up going). After learning about this horrific crime and doing more research into the culture, I really abandoned that dream. It's so concerning that Korea has the highest level of suicide in the developed world. The work culture is also super intense and misogynistic. And with scandals like these and the Itaewon Halloween tragedy, its concerning how bad the police response is. I will appreciate the food and music from afar. I also don't feel like being subjected to racism as a dark-skinned foreigner.

so many of these scandals are like..... gasp, a woman has a body and that's wrong, somehow gasp, a woman does something normal (dates someone, hangs out with a friend, takes a shot, takes selfies with a friend...), and that's also wrong somehow gasp! a woman is wearing clothes she chose for herself and feels comfortable in! gasp! a famous woman wants to keep personal matters private/doesn't want to talk about something personal right now! oh no, we all deserve to know every single possible detail of her life (and then judge and shame her for it when she does tell us something!) and yet the men there are like haha yeah i sexually assaulted fifteen girls with video evidence of all of them and i made it so other men could do the same, but that's fine because.... we're men.... but those women! they have bodies and got harmed, that's their fault not ours!

as a former seungri stan i can endorse the inferiority complex. he used to say his role in bigbang was being the reflector that made the other members shine brighter. during his great seungri tour, he was really passive aggressive saying he had to get a completely new group of background dancers because YG was focusing only on BLACKPINK. in retrospect, his behavior was so gross and manipulative and i am sincerely praying on his true downfall. it’s ironic how he was talking about how dangerous Cambodia is when he’s the one who orchestrated violent crimes.

yes! i was a former vip and defended seungri so much when the group was distancing greatly from him in 2015-16 with the endless jokes....he most def felt a certain type of way abt that and more. most of the jokes even before that too were at his own expense and im sure that played deep into his insecurities on top of being already misogynistic (a couple of them harbor similar thoughts). also not adding to this is his dad being loaded growing up and losing it all in a moment....it all adds up over time 😭

Sometimes I wonder how these people who left hate comments on Sulli and Hara are doing, what they are doing, are they happy, did they feel good bullying somebody, a stranger for no reason .. do they feel some kind of guilt? Like I cannot imagine the frustration, sadness, depression the girls might have gone through. I was a fan of F(X) and I became more in love with Sulli with her 'GOBLIN' release. As for Hara, I didn't really knew much about her but she had a lovely image, I liked her from the drama CITY HUNTER. At that time, I was just on RU-vid enjoying contents without knowing what was going on out of YT. I feel so sad whenever I hear about them till to this day. I will love them forever as artists. There are still many bullying and hate and fanwars going on in the Kpop scene, I really hope fans will learn from this and stop with whatever hate and jealousy they have towards the idols and drag them for no reason and baseless rumours. As for the male idols and everyone involved in the Burning Sun scandal in general, I am just speechless, I don't even know how to think about this. I feel like an idiot, dumb, betrayed and filled with trust issues. After all these years, I still am a Kpop enjoyer but it ends there, only to that extent . I decided to not have emotional attachment to any Kpop idols anymore, any celebrities in general.

@lillanie125 Месяц назад
my theory is that that ex-boyfriend of hers in actually forcing Hyuna. that might be totally false and i accept that completely but I think it might be helpful to consider he might be blackmailing Hyuna so that she'll marry him. How that'll help him, idk, maybe he hopes it'll improve his image BUT i think that bad habits die hard and he may be treating Hyuna the same as Hara :( . However i could also be wrong and Hyuna could be doing this all of her own free will and that is gross

I mean HyunA has a type. She might be a little troubled herself with all that super either sexy either cute either powerful femme fatal that people assume her to be. Her type is ex cube ent guys I wouldn't even be surprised if I were told she dated Hyunsung from B2st I wish she would have go for someone less shady. Now for Junhyungs defense ( and he hasn't t really my good sides) what is scandalous is although he allegedly didn't touch any women, he was a friends with r*pe perpetrators and a BYSTANDER ! The thing that makes it worse is he was Goo Haras ex. Now let's put some chronology Hara and yong Junhyung dated from 2011 to 2013 The one who really pressured Goo Hara about revenge porn was her then ex Choi Jeong beom(2018). Second Gu Hara wasn't connected to Burning Sun Case through Yong Junhyung from Beast. However she is connected through Choi Jeong Beoml her ex and Choi Jeong Heon here friend from FT Island( if it s not CNBLue) Last JJY although well known throught his ulzzang status rocketed to stardom in 2012. He might have started shady thing around then for sure however , I doubted his closeness with yong Junhyung around that time. I mean 2012 jjy stardom and 2013 end of hara and junggyun relationship it's kinda missed timing . It doesn't match It matches more with Choi Jeong beom though. Hence although I blame Junhyung to be a bystander , it seems like he is not all black nor white. I want to give impulse on allegedly since he was dismissed from burning sun case and had always keep on the same version since then and before the hearing. But my guy , I am telling you I am not encouraging this. As if Being a perpetrator isn't t outrageous enough hence being a bystander shouldn't not be acceptable . Sulli and Hara shouldn't have died for this... public scrutinity was so harsh on them.

The thing is about the safe that was stolen, the thief would have obviously taken more then the safe if they wanted money, like the jewelry sitting around and not just the stuff in the safe. But what I personally think, there HAS to be something on at least 1 of the phones, because why else would the thief not steal anything else like the designer bags, or any of the other expensive things. But also there’s the fact the safe was 50 - 60 lbs and the thief carried it BY HAND, which makes me think the thief is probably one of the more buff, or on the fit side of idols and people that knew Hara. R.I.P Sulli and Hara, they did not deserve ANY of the hate they were getting. Fly high angels🕊️❤️ This case just shows how Korea is today. The fact the men involved got 5 years in less in prison and on probation, and probably ruined hundreds of innocent women’s life’s, is absolutely insane. The fact Sulli got so much hate for dating 3 men is just beyond not okay. All idols deserve to date who they want, considering a lot of them are full grown adults. They deserve to have the freedoms to dress how they want, date whoever, do whatever and not be criticized for it.
