can we appreciate how golden this moment at 4:42 ? the vocalist of the song starts singing when the camera views the taken down car, and the instrument continues when the camera back to player
It would be amazing if that happened to every take down, but I feel like it would be difficult to obtain vocals of a song, as well as the audio size of having both versions for a song. Just a thought tho 💭 🥱
@@MrIDGAF modern games has this tech called "dynamic music" every game has it, the best example i can think of is Doom Eternal, Dying Light 2, GTA 5, RDR2 and probably Cyberpunk 2077, even NFS Carbon has this, whenever you're behind or inbetween racers, the song goes intense, also in Canyon races whenever you almost fell off, the song goes adrenaline pumping with the camera also going far against you to simulate that "close call" moment, Imagine a Burnout game with it.
I don't know about you guys but, this game, this footage, the BGM...they all deserve to be put in a museum for how legendary it actually is. Whether if you drive the Euro Circuit Racer, or if you have owned all the Dominator cars, this is where everyone started. Silver Lake, Compact Class cars, and a kickass BGM to help you get that elusive "Gone Fishin" Signature Takedown.
I swear whoever came up with the idea of the Takedown Camera is a fucking genious. The game pausing a bit just to show you who and how you wiped out an opponent and the seamless transition is so satisfying.
Got emotional seeing it after 10 years. I was a teenager and now an adult. Want to go back in the past again with my brother handling another console. 😢😢
"I wrote a blogpost about why I hate videogames because this is what it does, it's like the male fantasy..." Boy the joy I felt watching this video, goodtimes playing this game. I played the Revenge a lot more, and man entering a Road Rage at the sound of "Life Burns!" was just therapy...
I remember when I was a kid I got like 129 takedowns or something like that, then I grabbed my sister digital camera to take a picture with me and the TV screen as a proof for something, I was probrably thinking I was going to get on Guinness World Records for something that stupid hahahaah
Criterion cut most of its staff in 2013 to form Ghost Games (NFS 2015). Criterion co-founders left in 2014 to form Three Fields Entertainment (Dangerous Golf). The leftovers of Criterion is co-developing Star Wars Battlefront II right now, which is very much working for EA.
its already in the markdown section at my local walmart for 10$, shows you how little the community wanted/needed a remaster of a game thats not even 2 generations old yet.
I don't think any other game has made such a more satisfying full boost like Burnout 3. When you first get it going it's like basic Nos. But when you get that x4? ROCKET RIGHT UP THEIR ASS!!!😡😡🤬🤬🤬 revenge takedowns, the soundtrack, damaged cars while driving! Makes you feel like a badass beating other cars down. And oh so satisfying when you hear their cars explode on this map in particular😙 when they fly off and go into the ravine I like to slow down just to hear it. I love this game so much
