I never got to experience the online component of Burnout 3, as my grandparents didn't have internet access until, like, 2009 or 2010, and my place didn't have internet access until 2011-2012. Even then, by that point, I had moved on to the PS3, my PS2 copy was in bad shape, and Grandpa's modded Xbox was bricked. Just by looking at some gameplay footage, human racers are fucking psychos, compared to CPU racers.
GEOMETRY DASH REJECTED I know, this game is Nostalgia number 1. I have this game with my PS2 I'm playing with the classics :DDDD (I'm lucky) I've completed burnout 3 100% but I never get bored from this game!!!
I never played this game as a kid, the first game I played in the series was Burnout Paradise which I had a lot of fun on, wrecking cars in the most brutal ways possible. But even though I never played burnout 3 as a kid, it’s somehow nostalgic to me in a way, the soundtrack, the graphics, the sound fx. Plus it’s actually really entertaining to watch. I tried to play this game on my ps2 a few months back but for some reason the game didn’t respond to my controller inputs. Burnout series is awesome and still has so much potential, it’s sad to see that Criterion don’t care about it anymore though. I hope to see another burnout game but it might unfortunately never happen. Sorry if this comment is long and my grammar sucks but just thought I’d say it anyway. Whoever reads this, have a good day :)
I never got to play online, as I missed my chance to play it on both ps2 and xbox. When the game made it into the marketplace on the 360, Mostly I played it because I had a great nostalgic factor to it. But it looks like its a blast
Rival GT honestly, with the hopes of the remastered version of paradise, I hope enough sales of people means Criterion comes back for good, and gives us another burnout or at least another remastered game from the past, like a burnout collection or burnout revenge going to the backwards compatibility for Xbox one.
I'm pretty sad that I never got to experience this side of Burnout 3, but it looks like you guys had extra fun for me :). At least I recently installed it on EMU and finally beat the entire game, the only thing I got left to do is the 2k total takedowns. I was never able to do this back when I played the game on ps2 so it feels very satisfying. This game hasn't lost any of it's charm and it doesn't even look bad graphics wise when upscaled. I loved Paradise but it didn't have the magic this game had. Thanks for the video.
I remember playing this game for the first time as a demo version inside NFS Underground 2. I never got it to buy, but I remember having a lot of fun in the demo. really is a great game.
lol, I watched the entire race thinkin how you race so much sloppier than I did, not knowing who you were. Good close race though. Weiler and tigbit in worlds were hard to keep up with on that track.
It is so refreshing seeing this game in 720p at 60fps after being forced to play at 480i on ps2. Really shows off a lot of the detail. I am quite glad you uploaded it at 60fps about 5 years ago.
NumNaut people have been trying to reverse engineer this game for years, i’m not saying it’s completely impossible but it seems very unlikely, mainly due to how the game doesn’t come with Lan abilities and how the game is hard coded to directly connect to ea servers.
I never play Burnout 3 online, but I had countless single player moments. Also this game still the best in the series because of good vibing. Burnout Revenge is too hardcore and apocalypse, while Paradise has small scale open world game.
Personal opinion but... The single player was boring as you were always miles ahead from 2nd place but the multiplayer was pretty fun cause it was always a genuine brawl for 1st.
