Chrome7fan *_ME IRL_* But it was Kindergarten/preeschool (I started playing when i was 3 I think) when I stared playing this, and played this through to Grade 2, Im in grade 9 and hope to play this again soon. :D
In kindergarten/first grade it was Takedown for me. Then in 2nd grade we threw out our ps2 and got an Xbox 360. Got revenge. Loved it. I'm currently in 7th grade with an Xbox one playing paradise remastered and revenge.
bro it s been like more than 10 years that I didn't hear it and I have a fucking big big smile ! So many memories coming back and huuuuuuuuuuuuge takedowns ahahahah
I recently remember the good old days of me and my brother playing this game. We would switch between events. This was almost 10 years ago. I think 8 or 9 years ago it was. The most memorable events I knew was Traffic Attack in the first rank in Sunshine Keys. But the most memorable one by far was Dangerous Swerves. Me and my brother always bet the first one to jump off the bridge with the Crashbreaker. Nostalgia hitting me hard.
I remembered when I was in final grade of elementary school. My mom bought me a psp with burnout as my first game in psp cause she saw me having fun with NFS Most Wanted at ps2. Todays racing game will never capture the moment of that 2 games. Those games were truly magical at that time.
Cats got the touch that kills the pain The red flagged women never need the same The kids of tomorrow don’t need today when they live in the sins of yesterday X3 Chorus We don’t need them x3 Repeat
I miss being a kid and coming from from school and throwing on Burnout Revenge and activating my boost with each drop of each song. Damn where did my youth go..
@@MaxWis your right never stop feeling young my guy it's things like this that helps us feel like that little kid again and again it's just up to you to keep up that feeling

I agree alays loved the Burnout version way better. Its even on my ipod whenever the Billy Talent playlist comes up. I have the original one locked lol
Can't believe I played this game only two times in my childhood on the PS2. All I would do was play F1 06, NFS Most Wanted, and PES 5, without ever really giving Burnout Revenge a chance because of how aggressive it looked to me as a 4-5 year old kid. Now I'm 19 and I'm rediscovering the game on emulator, and I completed the first 3 ranks in only two days of playing this masterpiece.
When this song came on nobody was safe when I was in 5th place or lower. Oh how I miss my high school video game days. It's Burnout forever fuck Need for Speed.
Sadly that goes to Burnout 3 for me, but the soundtrack for this game is pretty good too. I started on Burnout 3 too, as it was my first "T" rated game lol.
My boyfriend recently showed me this game and hes been playing it nonstop after refinding it lol This is his favorite song on there, took a long time to find it lol
LYRICS Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Well I've never seen us act like this Our only hope is the minds of kids And they'll show us a thing or two Our only weapons are the guns of youth It's only time before they tighten the noose And then the hunt will be on for you The red flag waving never meant the same, no The red flag waving never meant the same Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Like the smallest bee packs a sting Like a pawn checkmates a king We'll attack at the crack of dawn Build a ladder if there's a wall Don't be afraid to slip and fall Speak for yourself or they'll speak for you The red flag waving never meant the same, no! The red flag waving never meant the same, no! Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Like a fire Don't need water Like a jury Needs a liar Like a riot Don't need order Like a madman Needs a martyr We don't need them We don't need them We don't need them We don't need them We don't need them We don't need them We don't need them We don't need them Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday (we don't need them, we don't need them) Cast off the crutch that kills the pain (we don't need them, we don't need them) The red flag waving never meant the same (we don't need them, we don't need them) The kids of tomorrow don't need today (we don't need them, we don't need them) When they live in the sins of yesterday We don't need them!
This is the lyrics for the original version. It was slightly edited for the video game. For example, in the pre-chorus, "The red flag waving never meant the same, no" was replaced with "We don't need them".
Agreed I've been going through my most nostalgic songs and here's this This makes me want to go buy another psp and dig out my ol copy of this game if I have it and if not but it
To me, this is the definitive theme of Angel Valley, thanks to how *aggresive* you can be there. Especially on Road Rage, which this song is overall good for.
The Golden Hawaiian Swordsman Dragon HIGHLY AGREES on whenever kids would be playing Burnout: Revenge & this song would start playing once the race starts, everyone would be dead focused on winning the race and getting 1st place, their adrenaline pumping to it's highest!!🏎️🏁🎮😎👍
Legends and Revenge relatively had the same soundtrack, the only exception being a few songs weren't in Legends, and the DS version of Legends had it's own "song" because the soundfont on the DS was awful.
You know, this is my son's favorite song ever!!! So the only way for me to wake him up is by hearing this. So i love it too. But my favorite is actually Lullaby. :D
this game's entire soundtrack was BANGERS but this is the song i remember the most vividly..... used to be my absolute fave back in the day.. wish i owned a ps2 nowadays cuz i miss this game :(
+Alex Schwaighofer eh I don't really either now. I now here "cast of the crunch". I only heard it while playing the game and focusing on destroying my rivals.
There actually is Burnout Revenge for 360. And hopefully they bring backwards compatibility on the Xbox One for it too. 15 dollars is definetly worth it though. :')
[Chorus] Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday [Verse 1] Well I've never seen us act like this Our only hope is the minds of kids And they'll show us a thing or two Our only weapons are the guns of youth It's only time before they tighten the noose Then the hunt will be on for you [Pre-Chorus] The red flag waving never meant the same No, the red flag waving never meant the same [Chorus] Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday [Verse 2] Like the smallest bee packs a sting Like a pawn checkmates a king We'll attack at the crack of dawn Build a ladder if there's a wall Don't be afraid to slip and fall Speak for yourself or they'll speak for you [Pre-Chorus] The red flag waving never meant the same No, the red flag waving never meant the same Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday [Bridge] Like a fire, don't need water Like a jury, needs a liar Like a riot, don't need order Like a madman, needs a martyr We don’t need them, we don't need them We don’t need them, we don't need them We don’t need them, we don't need them We don’t need them, we don't need them [Chorus] Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday Cast off the crutch that kills the pain The red flag waving never meant the same The kids of tomorrow don't need today When they live in the sins of yesterday [Outro] (We don’t need them, we don't need them) Cast off the crutch that kills the pain (We don’t need them, we don't need them) The red flag waving never meant the same (We don’t need them, we don't need them) The kids of tomorrow don't need today (We don’t need them, we don't need them) When they live in the sins of yesterday (We don’t need them)
Once this starts playing when the race starts.., you're INSTANTLY IN THE ZONE, AND YOUR ADRENALINE INSTANTLY AT 155. You're focused on the most important thing: 1st Place.
I heard this song and forgot about it. Now. After like YEARS passed, my spotify played this from a random playlist. I instantly had flashbacks from little me driving around in this game, crashing others and having fun on my Xbox Classic. I still have the Xbox.. i really should play this masterpiece again soon.
