Originally telecast live on April 10, 1952. The copy of LIFE magazine Harry Von Zell holds up at 26:34 {Marilyn Monroe on the cover} is the April 7, 1952 issue. And the ad on the back? Dick Haymes ["popular singing star"] endorsing Camel cigarettes.

In the opening segment, Gracie & Blanch were actually on a sound stage, but it looks real enough.

If you look at the grandfather clock in George and Gracie’s living room, the time shows AND stays at 8:05 and the second hand does not move either.

It was a studio at Columbia Square in Hollywood (where KNX was located). Footage of a busy Los Angeles intersection was rear projected to simulate the real thing.

Does anyone know the episode number and title description of when this particular actor started the part of Harry Morton?

Fred Clark became Harry with the 18th episode {"Vanderlip's Costume Party"}, telecast on May 24, 1951 [East Coast telecast: June 7, 1951].
