Lots of people are saying home owner Manoj Prasad, she runs a small rental business. But according to police radio during the standoff Shannon Cortez Gooden is the alleged shooter. This incident occurred when a sexual assault call came in. It’s alleged that the shooter was preforming a sexual act on a 14 year old child. (I found things saying he got his right to own firearms back in 2020. The court documentsI found said his rights was denied in 2020. He lost his right to own firearms in 2008) lots of court documents were child custody cases.

This is what happens when you tie law enforcement’s hands. It doesn’t help when in most of these cases we have leadership that is not qualified. We have a female police chief that doesn’t appear to be very capable and a fire chief that looks like he would never be able to pass a pt test the police chief wouldn’t pass a pt either. Very sad.

My prayers and thoughts are with the loved ones who lost their lives and to the wounded officer. I lived in MN for 15 yrs in a development Sunset Pond Preserve. This location where the shooting took place was closer to the town center. Asa former peace officer, Domestic disturbance is the highest risk for any officer, EMT/EMS, Fire fighter. Shooter I understand is Dead but not before he killed 3 brave young men and wounded a 3rd police officer. May GOD give comfort to the loved ones who have lost these brave souls. When I lived in Burnsville, the Police were the best ever. Pax+

Burnsville about to make this into an Uvalde situation with a delayed statement that outlines what happened. Pull yourself together Captain and release the details. You know what happened. Even if the responding officers pulled up in front of the house and were shot because they didn't know he was armed. It may be a tactical error or miscommunication that arriving personnel didn't know to gain cover and make a controlled defensive approach.
