Hi Julie! Thanks very much! Just a quick little C Major jam I threw together because I wanted to review this guitar before my travels. Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏🎸😎
A friend of mine here in West Sussex (Southern England - UK) has one of these and I have to say I'm very impressed with it. The build quality is great, and unlike so many Les Pauls or Gibson LP copies, it's not too heavy. The neck and fretboard are great, it's very comfortable to play, and TBH I wish it were mine..! My guess is that it was made in Japan, partly because of the much lighter than usual weight, aprtly because of the super-high build quality.
Thanks, I continue to be impressed with the build quality of this guitar, and I’m so glad I found this at Notoms on Denmark Street. It’s a better guitar than a recent Gibson P90 gold top I owned. Thanks for watching! Cheers! 🥂
One of Gibson`s feared copies and for good reason ! I never been outside of the States but what I have seen London has some cool shops , Paul that is a great sounding guitar !!
I'm jonesin for a Goldtop... there's a couple Burny LP's for sale near me..... I find it hard to believe the spec tbh 15mm maple cap? these guitars are head and shoulders above Epiphone. What sort of weight are these guitars coming in at? I guess the only two things I am concerned with cosmetically is the Goldtop being faky-plasticy and whether the body is 5+ piece?
Ok, so let me set your worries aside. First, I’d say it comes in at around 9.5 lbs. not a boat anchor, but not super light. The gold top is very high quality, and I love the look and color. The body, although darkly stained, appears to be 1 piece. Overall, this guitar looks and plays as good as a Gibson in my opinion. Great value, I’m really glad I found it. Good luck 🍀👍
