QOTD: 10 points is a great start we couldn’t beat low block team last season and this season we faced many low block teams so this would be a great start
10 points in 5 games is 75% win rate This means if we keep this up till the end of the season after 38 games we would get 85 points and is enough to get us top 4
It's 2 points a game on average - if we did that over the course of a 38 match season we'd end on 76 points, which was enough to secure 4th place last season. Personally I'd be happy with that as a result as long as we managed to get some silverware alongside it (Conference League should be ours imo).
People who claim youtuber is an easy job havent tried to come up with a fresh way to say "the first choice keeper will play in this match" at least twice a week
As a west ham fan, new gaffer won’t start Ings or even Summerville. I imagine he plays more defensive while still having kudus wide. Not sure if he’ll play soler, but he loves his new Spanish signings in guido and Carlos soler respectively. He likes Edson Alvarez in the center to be aggressive which I imagine he’ll set a tone with in his first “bigger” game as gaffer. We’re in for a treat either way, good luck mate, first vid of yours I’ve watched still class even if ur a Chelsea fan 🤣✌️
Totally agree. Our best back 3 is probably with Levi centrally though, so it's hard to get the balance right with this team. I think our most balanced (not the best, just most balanced) back 3 is Wes RCB, Levi CCB, and Veiga LCB. Competition for places is good for us though, only brings everyone up a level
QOTD: City for the first game and playing against twelve men most weeks, yeah I’d say it’s a pretty good return considering haha! Personally I’ve enjoyed the football more than anything I seen last season as well.
Simply because he's not as well-rounded as Jackson is to play as our first choice striker, and he's not better than Palmer as the man behind the striker. I genuinely believe if we didn't sign Palmer, Nkunku would be starting in his position every week. Unfortunately for Christo (but fortunately for us) Palmer has fully grabbed that position and has been thriving in it.
Yes, because Wesley and he swapped positions like I mentioned. Wes started as the Central CB with Disasi on the right, so putting Tosin in the lineup over Disasi would mean he'd be in that right-sided role on paper. I didn't word that particularly clearly in hindsight!
Jackson is good at transition, Nkunku breaking low blocks. They can divide labour like that. What is the role of Felix? QTOD: Yes. that would be double what Pochettino achieved in his first 5 PL games with Chelsea. As a side effect, that would prove Boehly wrong. How would that impact the power struggle?
I would say it's more so that Jackson is better outside the box, and Nkunku is better inside it. Jackson's strengths cover a much larger portion of the pitch than Christo's. As for Felix, Maresca said in his press conference that he sees Joao as a 10 (like Palmer) and not a 9 (in which he included Nkunku and Jackson).
If maresca wins this then its a big statement as its been sometime since we have been in the top 4 position n will be a statement to become challengers for the top 4 n possible if we get a good run mayb be a out of the shot title contenders
Tactically, it is more efficient to play Fofana on the right side of the defence. Fofana is mobile and fast, so he'd be able to provide more cover there. Tosin may not be able to thrive vs Kudus.
