The Burstner Lyseo 710G costs around EUR68k and is 710cm long. The van sleeps four and has a huge garage!

I really like the lighting around the kitchen, very effective.

Great video Alan. I thought you had realized that Burstner include a channel in the underside of the utility door to lead the cable for mains power. So you can close the utility door and still have access to power without your water freezing. Look carefully at the utility door, maybe slow down be more aware of the small things.

I possibly did not know at the time of filming Willis but thanks for pointing that out.

The gap is so you can close the door from the bed side or to accommodate the higher step maybe. I don't like that feature at all.

That is good all round, but if I actually had €68,000 I'd save up for a bit longer and get something with a bit more style, a bit more appeal. That has everything you need, it is competent, but it is bland.

Getting a decent microphone setup would help with background noise. But having said that you're not brilliant with technology so we'd probably end up with a series of films with no sound !! Lol I'm hoping that in 2019 you will start being a bit more professional with this channel as the amatuer nature of it is beginning to get a little bit dull ! The films are all exactly the same . there doesn't seem to be any progression in the way you film the way you comment or your knowledge of motorhomes in general . After 10 years of this Alan you really should be doing better!! Releasing films a year after you've actually shot them is pretty unforgivable for a RU-vid channel the purports to keep its audience up to date with new motorhome models. And if you mention large fridges or overhead beds again I think I'm going to go mad ! I know you're a bit of an eccentric personality and many of the films are superb so it is always disappointing to me that the quality isn't consistent and laziness seems to creep in far too often in your approach. I would suggest you look at some of the many other RU-vid channels that do motorhome reviews and motorhome tours to get some tips on how to improve the quality. Also consider doing more current films about full-time motorhome living , where you go to , where you travel to and your life in general.

By the way I'm assuming the gap at the end of the bed is to accommodate the step to get into the bloody bed!!!

I will tell you what Justin. As you are complaining about the technology - why not send me the kit you want me to film with and I will use it - how does that sound? As for it being amateur - of course it is amateur - I have never said it was professional, indeed if anyone is doing it professionally then they are not going to be neutral. Unlike what you probably had in a production company, I do not have a soundperson, a director, a script writer - I have to film in rather difficult circumstances, am given usually no more than two hours a day to do this hoping that I am not going to be bothered by other people, security or hoovers. As for it not being up to date, the date is said at the very beginning of just about every film I do - I have asked you before when you expect things to go up seeing as for the past year there have been nearly 400 RV videos published. Genuine news is published immediately, I was the very first English language outlet to publish the news of the first production line electric motorhome. As for me being lazy, maybe I am but I have put up at least one film per day, have maintained a large website and regularly produced a newsletter all whilst maintaining two normal jobs. As for where I go, that is the one thing you will see here for the past ten years and if it is six months out of date that is because I don;t have time to do it.

Alan Heath I always said you should get a GoPro with a wide angle lens and a decent mic set up for general use and especially when you're doing two handed films with Andy. The simplest setup is the best thing for you because you do very straightforward filming without editing. Which is what the GoPro was made for. My point about the evolution of the channel is to be a little bit more focused on brand development in motor homes , quality developments in motorhomes design etc. Commenting on what's happening this year compared to what they did last year . it's not about having a script written for you it's about having a depth of knowledge ( which I'm sure you already have) and using it in the commentaries. Otherwise every film starts looking identical. It's hard to explain if this is an obvious to you already. Also if you film a motorhome show but don't release the films almost immediately you lose the currency of the event and the relevance of motor homes featured. it becomes a mish-mash of unfocused postings on last year's models . I'm being tough on you because the potential for the channel is so good . you have extraordinary access and you're certainly not lazy when it comes to getting out and filming the motorhomes . It's the lack of editorial and focus in how you post the videos that reveals a hint of laziness. Going for quantity over quality is always a mistake and it would be far better to have fewer motor homes featured but in more in-depth. Your own motorhome remodel was a good example . It was a fantastic idea . a great series of films. but it hasn't been finished . we don't know how the Motorhome ended up? If you do a series like this either you wait till then work is finished and show us everything, or you film it fly on the wall style so we follow along with you as the work is being carried out . Anyway ! enough of my criticism. it is meant to be constructive but I do accept that it might be a little bit aggressive sometimes. I genuinely enjoy your channel and because of my past history I can't help but speak up on certain things but I will l try to be less pompous about it!! Lol
