BURUNDANGA by Aurora Theatre's Teatro del Sol 

We documented the rehearsals of Aurora Theatre's Teatro del Sol new play, Burundanga, in Spanish with English supertitles.
This comedy by Spanish playwright Jordi Galcerán, follows poor, pregnant, Barcelonan Berta, who wants to know if her boyfriend Manel really loves her. But the truth can be dangerous.
Teatro del Sol was founded by Aurora Theatre Producing Artistic Director, Anthony P. Rodriguez, with the goal of preserving Hispanic cultural heritage in the US. In his view, Latinos are a loud, funny and passionate people, and the plays they chose convey that reality.
