Really hope they do a 10th anniversary re-release of this album. It's still their best one to date (no offense, love the other albums but this one has my high school years attached to it).
It’s because nuclear blast owns the rights to all their work apart from this album or something like that,Jason was saying their label has been disputing it for ages but it’s some legal stuff that’s why it’s not aloud on there, I think basik records are being a bunch of flogs about letting it be released
Finally found it!!!omgg Im so gladddd))) after searching for a week finally found this song. It reminded me of my middle school times with my bestie.she used to send me this type of songs))
@@unknownuser-fy5gy you gotta just find the right places to look. society is adoring and paying attention to the shit music but there is a ton of amazing music out there being released every year. As I Lay Dying, Periphery, Killswitch Engage, Light The Torch, Opeth, Amon Amarth, Dream Theater, etc. all released amazing music in 2019. Check it all out!
Someone already said this but this song is really heavy at parts and really deep in others. My favorite Bury Tomorrow Song of all time. We need more songs like this.
And as the light breaks through, with the hope that we had. Years drag on, age is lined by the frame. Light breaks through. Through immortality, love is lost, powers gained. I've sold the blood, from my veins. As these winters fade, so do mortals lives. The cracks that scar my face, enemies portrayed. In vein never to be displayed. As these winters fade, so do mortals lives. But my heart remains, ever beating, ever beating. STRIP IT DOWN. Tear the place from the walls, I am done, I want to see the age beneath my eyes. And as the light breaks through, with the hope that we had. Years drag on, age is lined by the frame. Light breaks through. I have seen, all the things within this life. But i am damned to walk this earth. I've seen some things, that will make your blood turn cold, I've seen some things, that will make your blood turn cold, STRIP IT DOWN. Tear the place from the walls, I am done, I want to see the age beneath my eyes. And as the light breaks through, with the hope that we had. My eyes burn at my face, As the portrait's displayed
This is an absolute masterpiece. pure brillance at is best. Those breakdowns at 1.32 and 2.55 are incredible and Dans vocals brutal. and the way it kicks in at 3.45 OMG
@@gameheimland184 I do, and I don't. In that Jason's voice had more depth, feeling, range and uniqueness. The new singer's voice seems to fit the heavier direction the band's going, even if I find him somewhat similar to most other vocalists of the genre. Which reminds me WHY I loved JCs voice so much. It was so unique and made me feel a certain way.
somebody posted these lyrics below and I searched all across the internet to figure out the missing portions or what I believe are missing lyrics. After, what I thought I figured out are the correct lyrics, I searched them up via google in all quotes unable to find anything. Are these copywritten? The first result was Romeo and Juliet re a rose with any other name, which is the feeling of this song... Strange. The "missing" lyrics are in quotes. I slowed it down and sped it up probably a hundred times over... I am not trying to spread misinformation. (starts around 1:30) STRIP IT DOWN. Tear the place from the walls, I am done, I want to see the age beneath my eyes. "And withering like... you call my name" I have no idea, but knowing these lyrics completes this song for me. If anybody can confirm I would appreciate it. Then when it repeats at 3:43... He goes on to repeat the lyrics saying: "And withering like!!! You call my name!!!! And withering like you call my name!! Thank you
Read through the lyrics a few times and if you have a trained ear you'll start hearing what they're saying, even the rough vocals. Then again it could be the mixing (band's first album and it was 2009 at the time), so I give 'em a pass in that regard, but hey, lmao
Dude it’s not on Spotify either. And I’m replying in 2020. Haha. Honestly bums me out though. This is the only place Ive found it for years. If this goes away It’ll be legit tragic.
in case you haven't bought it yet: like ryan said, amazon, but if you're lucky you can find used cds (maybe even vinyl) which are usually in good condition and a lot cheaper I bought my cd used for about 10euros which isnt too bad
I always looking for a physical copy of this one, but it's really hard to find it. Even on ebay. The only 2 copy's i found costs more than 50€. That's hard.
