@@dieselbuddysatgeisslertran777 Ich finde, der Sound hört sich trotzdem sehr sauber an! Die heutigen Smartphones machen im allgemeinen eine sehr saubere Tonaufnahme...... Aber eins noch: Kann man diese Busse nicht im 2.Gang anfahren? Als ich früher als Schüler/Azubi mit dem Bus noch gefahren bin, die Fahrer sind alle im 2. Gang angefahren! Geht das bei denen da nicht?
@@rossdoktamail8055 Ok, verstehe.... ja gut, bergauf da fahr ich mit dem Laster auch immer im 1. Gang an, im 2. da quält man sich unnötig.... Sonst fahr ich immer im 2. an, schwer beladen sind unsere Böcke sehr selten....... bergauf hab ich auch nicht so oft........

@@dieselbuddysatgeisslertran777 alles gut.ich fahre den neoplan cityliner u den setra 500.durch die technisch Entwicklung jetz leider nur noch Automatik Getriebe. Die Handschaltung fehlt einem doch ma🙈vll.gibt's ja von dir irgendwann nen neues Bus video.das wäre voll cool^^ bis dahin u bleib gesund 😷😉
Hey man nice video, i am now Truck driver now but i started as bus driver and was driving 315 HDH with 8 gand gear, that was a great feeling. With 6 gand i think it will be like driving a car, it takes all the fun but in city should be very helpful.
Hi, fahre Jahre lang 315 HD mit 8 Gang, am Anfang hab ich gedacht, "man bloß kein Fehler" aber mittlerweile ist es so geil.... Letztes hab ich ein 516 gefahren, klar andere Liga aber.....
….das ist schön, der 315HD mit 8-Gang ist für mich einer der besten Busse überhaupt, geiler ist nur noch ein 317 HDH mit 435PS ;) Die Sitzposition und Bedienbarkeit im Setra war für mich auch immer viel besser als im Mercedes 303 oder 404....ich bin Setra-Fan! Die modernen Busse mit den automatisierten Getrieben sind für mich nicht mehr so interessant.... Viele Grüsse, Roger
Setra - best of the best! Why 6-speed transmission? My own Setra 315HD-H... with OM442DELA, with 8 speed gear ZF... Good drlver in video! Every time used retarder. It's right... Sorry for my english... 😏I'm Russian.
....thank you very much !!! The engine and gearbox is only Standard and strong enough;) I think that the 8 Speed was only connected with the V8 OM 442... no worries about your English;)

Hello, really nice driving video 😊, I started yesterday to drive a bus, I was on a Mercedes O404 and soon I'll have the exam to got the driver license hoping to can working! My favourite is this Setra you are driving and I see you change gears faster with this bus while me with O404 can't do it! Is maybe because this Setra is newer and have a better transmission? And of course the hardest thing driving the bus is the retro parking in fact yesterday I had difficulties I hope to learn soon how do it 🚌

This transmission is a semi-electric and fakes the feeling of shifting very good;) I know the O404 and O303 with the big stick...this are "Mercedes-Gearboxes" and for the right way to shift....you must feel ist in the stick, what want the gearbox next! Not shifting angry and hard....let the stick take the time and than you got a smooth shifting....be slowly, it is not a sportscar!

Nice video and I'm not sure to what type of Automatic transmission are you using in your bus? my guess is that it's a ZF Torque Converter automatic transmission since here in the United States most motor coach buses use Allison B500 torque converter Automatic transmission or automated manual transmission like the ZF Astronic
.....thanx man:) But the transmission is a manual 6 Speed Gearbox (6Go180) produced from Mercedes-Benz. The most trucks and busses in Europe uses the automated AS-Tronic or the new one called traxxon from ZF....for the hydraulic automatic Transmission in citybusses is mostly installed the ZF-Ecolife 6 speed / ZF-Ecomat 5-speed or the Voith DIWA 4 Speed. Allison-gearboxes are not so popular in Germany, but you can order it for some IVECO- Trucks.

Exept for truck and bus drivers, it seems that hardly anyone knows how to drive a stick anymore. (Don't go reading anything into that! Get your mind out of the gutter! 😉) My dad taught me to drive a manual transmission. Very first car I drove was a 1965 Rambler 660 Classic wagon with a 3-speed column shift ("three on the tree" as they used to say!). (Forgot to add...) Something else they also say, which is very true... once you learn how to drive a manual transmission, you never forget how!
......thanx man :))) I was fascinated for shifting everything;) My first adventure to drive and shift was a VW beetle 1200 from 1970 :D it was terible! Learned to shift was a BMW 528i from my uncle>realy awesome car! I grow up with busses everywhere arround me and my dad shows me how to handle and treat them the right way> thanks dad:))) Its absolutely right what you say.... when you learn to shift in your life...you can´t forget it> its in your blood and in your soul !!!
I thought you could only get the V6 in Setra S411 and Inline V6 in bigger S415?? What BHP is your bus? Unusual for a V6 in a s415 in Ireland, my favs are the S315 V8 twin Turbo and old school S215 V8 only Mercs no MANs 😂
gary harding .... Hi Gary,this bus is a S415HD and inside is the OM 501 installed with 408hp. In Germany it was possible to order the V6 in this version. I agree with you about the S215 V8 and the old MAN Lions Star....I love the oldschool driving ;)))
THANK YOU VERY MUCH Jose !!! :))) I love to drive bus....and not only driving....for me its more....I grew up with busses:))) But today I miss the 90´s....for me it was the best time to learn to drive! Everything I now about busdriviving I learned from my father:))) Today mostly I drive trucks and sometimes I can enjoy a bus (at my friends company) for my own therapy ;)))
.... in the 90s there was only the "AVS" from the brand ZF possible, that was a aomatic clutch and a an automatic shift mechanic for Coaches. The was also the "EPS" from Mercedes and some systems from Scania (CAG) and Volvo (EGS).... but for this systems you have a normal clutch and you MUST use it ;)
TRe' CooL ..... this kind of shifting is more oldschool shifting as you need to do with modern gearboxes... but it gives a smoother shifting when you "double clutch" and "between gas" this is how i learn to drive in the 90's.....
.....the "double- clutching" helps the syncronisation of the gearbox to work wear-free while upshifting.... you can google it ;) its oldschool driving.....

.....ich finde das nicht altmodisch, das fährt sich fantastisch, ich würde das im Reisebus oder LKW immer bevorzugen....beim Linienbus ist eine "Wandlerautomatik" natürlich beser;)
Diesel Buddys at Geissler Transporte ich kann aus gesundheitlichen Gründen kein Schalter mehr Fahren da mein linker Fuß ständig schmerzt beim Kupplungen tretten.
Diesel Buddys at Geissler Transporte danke ich war sehr lange schalt Fahrer aber dann würden die schmerzen so schlimm das ich den linken Fuß nicht mehr bewegen konnte un die Kupplung leidete nur durch einer Spritze könnt ich mein Fuss bewegen un 2015 im April holte ich mir ein Astra f CC Automatik
