I was wondering if you’d ever tour this! This is the BEST tour of a bus I’ve ever watched! I really appreciate your depth of knowledge. You have an owner/restorer/caregiver/driver relationship that offers an intimate experience. It’s easy to see how much you appreciate your business. Thanks for sharing!
Well this video of yours sold me, I just subscribed to your channel. Love the woodwork & thought you put into it. Watched the video of the crusty barndoor backing up at the Yarmouth car show. Keep up the good work.
totally unbelievable how you made everything lightweight. Hollowing out the backsides with a router. and super strong. I didnt even think about doing that.
Thanks for another great video. I enjoyed watching your camper build. I also have a 64 that I believe was originally what they called a microbus (?) that I hope to make into a similar camper. I actually have two sets of camper furniture, but will end up probably making my own using the original stuff for patterns. I do not possess your metal working skills, but am a decent woodworker. Thanks for your encouragement through your videos!
What a great tour. you and your wife are very talented. Thank you for the tour, your bus is a beautiful example of the great splitty! I am really enjoying your videos of you bringing your other splitty back to life . I always look forward to your next videos.
What a stunning vehicle !!! Well done. When you were putting up the awning, I thought to mysrlf....... He probably built that lol. I own a 69 bay window delux bus, thinking of converting it into a day camper 👍
Thank you for the tour. In your closing photos I spotted the Wells River Vermont Welcome Center, that’s my town! I live about a quarter of a mile from that building.
In 1958 my parents had one pretty much like this one. My dad built most of inside with a sink, stove, a bed that lowered from the roof where my parents slept over the bed below. I slept on the front seat My mom made a tarp tent like his. 5 of us traveled around the US .
Thank You for the tour of your bus! What a thoughtful and quality restoration - I really enjoyed seeing the workmanship and how useful the interior and your awning. Great camper 👍
Love the van , I have the VW t25 1986 caravel 2.1 waterboxer it has a rock & roll bed , small portable gas cooker and a metal fold up kitchenette thing, very basic a weekend camper. love your barn door videos too I've watched them all. thank you for your great videos , I Live in the UK.
Thanks for sharing a tour of your bus. The interior you built is just wonderful. The routing to reduce weight and hardwood radius corners on your cabinets are next level. I am restoring my 67 Kombi and will be taking a lot of inspiration from your layout and designs. I really like your fan upgrade in the the front air box to allow for air circulation when parked. Thanks again for the sharing the video and the detailed build report.
