After my last trip to Florida sadly missed this local to Orlando park it was time to visit Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and try out all of their incredible rides including Iron Gwazi, rated as one of the best RMC's in the world!

Montu has always been the more superior B&M invert and after all this time it’s still in my top 10 it’s so famous and so intense it’s awesome

Great theme park with some cool rides. Has always been one of my favourite parks in Florida. Haven't been to Busch since 2012 but it is great to see Montu, Cheetah hunt, Kumba, scorpion and Sheikra are still operating. Had all the travel arrangement to get to Florida in 2020 and the pandemic put a stop to it. Need to sort my shizz out and get back over there for a couple of weeks in 2025. You are 100% correct on Montu. Definitely the best B&M invert in the world and has been for a long time.

I was one of the people saying you needed to come here after your first Florida trip. One of my favorite parks and glad you got to go. I also loved the cameo from @midwaymayhem on Gwazi.

@LiftHillsandThrills Super nice guy. His specialty is construction updates as he works in the industry. Having literally built rides with his own hands his knowledge really shines in that format. Plus, just a nice genuine guy. He grew out his hair and beard during the lengthy Gwazi construction and then chopped most of it off to celebrate the opening.

You had a pretty much identical reaction to the ‘big 2’ FL coasters that I did. Came off VelociCoaster disappointed on my first ride, but Iron Gwazi was an instant ‘yep, worth the hype’, then riding it warmed up cemented it as #1! Zadra has awesome pacing and the stall, but the sheer aggressiveness of IG and better airtime elevate it to its own bracket.

I rode montu the year after it opened.. at the time I expected a horrible ride cause had only been on SLC before... montu blew my mind! It is nice seeing you at a park I have been to!

I've never ridden Iron Gwazi, but I must have watched over a hundred videos of it, excluding opening day footage. It always seemed to be a walk-on. For those who have ridden it, do you know why? Is it just too intense for the general public, like I305?

It’s strange as it’s right by the entrance and I wouldn’t say it’s too intense, I always tend to know which ones don’t suit me either my head condition which has me tapping out after one lap if it’s too extreme but Gwazi didn’t really affect me so not sure what it could be, with that said the whole park was dead on this particular day

Are you sure about Montu & Neme? 😲...Montu from the POV seems to lose a bit of momentum after the mid course, like it just meanders back to the station? Maybe it's better on ride?
