Yum! Omg I was just telling my fiancé that I didn’t grow certain things because of long vines but you kind of convinced me to grow cute cumbers with this video!!! A smaller bushy variety so awesome!
Your Cucumber plants are so happy! I grew 2 bush variety this year as well, yours were so pretty, I got inspired to try it. They did well, but in the end, the powdery mildew took over. I'm in SoCal, barely get rain and always water at base. Oh well, too close to the beach maybe 😊 but I still got 10 Cucumbers Thx for all the growing tips 😊
Thanks so much! ☺️🌱That’s awesome that you got 10 cucumbers, great harvest and honestly I struggle with powdery mildew every year with my cucumber plant too, very humid where I live. This year I’ve continued to sow cucumber seeds so I can keep new plants growing when the other one dies off, hoping this works so I have a continuous harvest!
@@MindfulLivingA you're more diligent than I am, to continue sowing seeds. Good for you! I get frustrated and move on to something else. 😒 That powdery mildew just floats from plant to plant. It killed my zucchini and butternut after only getting 2 of each of those veggies. I'm moving on to root veggies lol 😆 Patio gardens are fun though! ❤️ yours
Wonderful video! I did get the powdery mildew and I mixed neem oil in water and sprayed late afternoon and that got rid of it. You can also do baking soda and water or plain milk.
Can't stop watching your great videos! I've been searching and was wondering if you have grown these. Saladmore, Picklebush, and Spacemaster cukes? They only spread about 24 inches wide. Also, how about the yellow Butterstick squash that only goes out about 18 inches? Thanks!
Thanks so much! I have grown picklebush cucumbers before and I have a video on my channel about those as well. I grew picklebush two years in a row then switched to this variety as I wanted to grow larger cukes. I’ve never grown squash though.. at least not yet! 😊
