After more than 30-years of bowhunting black bear, it was just recently that I heard the term, “Bush Dragon”, to describe a big, dominate, male bear. This is a reference made by a northern Alberta local and it instantly made sense to me. This film will take us back to the beginning and you see that Roy Roth and I begin our pursuit of a Bush Dragon way back in 1989. While the hunt never truly ends, join me on this latest instalment as I head to wild Alberta in search of a monster.

My daughter's basketball coach got me to watching Cam... I've watched all his videos & bought my first bow 2 weeks ago. He's such an inspiration & the passion he has got me hooked. Bought all my kids bows also, every evening we are out shooting.

I love how cam and joe went hunting years and years ago,and when joe first said “keep hammering” cam was a little thrown off.And within 1 minute of convo they both agreed that they needed to keep it going and make it a t-shirt or brand. And here we are 2023 and keep hammering is apart of cams day to day. Great documentary’s keep them coming!

Much respect!! I love our bowhunting heritage. Let's KEEP passing it along more. We need that in today's broken viewed world. Anyone who doesn't take that meat is nuts. I've been blessed to harvest a few over the years. That meat is delicious. Some of the best ribs we've smoked were bear ribs.

Your videos with Roy in them definitely remind me of hunting with my dad. Those are the best memories with him is hunting together. This world can take someone from us but we still have those memories and we get to replay or relive them anytime. The part where he says he tries to get to the bear before it dies so he can apologize and see it pass and if/when he gets there nobody has a gun or knife and the bear attacks him and gets him, well then that’s fair play, that was a powerful statement. Wow.

I did my first ever black bear hunt this spring and I can understand a lot of the experience relayed through this video. I am surprised though that it seemed that Cam runs directly after the bear, or that's how it seemed with the editing? I personnally waited 30 minutes, not to bump the bear further in the forest and it worked well, found it 10yards further.

Enjoyed the film. Cam is a beast. But for him to say he didn't care if a camera was around when he retrieved his bears is pretty funny. Get him a Netflix comic special. He puts out good stuff but Cam loves two things; Cam and the Camera. Not hating here, so keep up the good work and Keep Camera-ing.
