I bought a broke down disc mower to rebuild. I rebuilt one of the segmented gearboxes on the cutter bar and replaced all of the wore out skid plates and replaced all of the cutting knives. Thanks for watching!
Mine has a lock, but it only holds it up. What model do you have? I have a manual I can look and see if yours has a lock. Does it just have the one hydraulic hose? If it does, then the cylinder should have a vent on it. It will be screwed into one of the ports. I wonder if that could be faulty. Does the cylinder try to move at all? If it has been setting for a long time, the pivot points could be froze up. @@GlennConnerI threw on a hose where the vent was and it works just fine now I’m wondering if a hose might have gotten robbed off of it a few years back but now it’s working and now to change a bearing. Thank you
