I'm watching this because I'm a trucker. My boss has a 5th wheel camper..close to around 35'. It's in Florida, and he needs it brought up to ohio. He has a Denali 3500, but no 5th wheel. I'm wondering if we can haul it back with my tractor..(full sleeper) if I slide the 5th wheel all the way back?
Motor stuck in down position (Merc 115 Optimax) did hit the ramp coming out, but not bad. Got the boat home ... motor runs but will not tilt, suspect no/low fluid level. Cannot access the fill port and need to tilt motor up ... going to try this ..... Thx.
I have done this many times with no issues. With a tandem axle and the hitch slid to the rear. Now if I was planning on running that way all the time, I would use a hitch modified for hauling a draft arm rock bucket dump trailer instead of a dry box. That also limits the front and back tilt with a removable tilt pin.
You said you put the LT on the trailer but move the ST trailer tires to the truck. So you put the truck at risk of having the blowout? I agree with the LT on the trailer but ST on the truck is crazy.
No!!!! I take LT tires off of the camper and install them on the truck to finish them out. I don't use ST tires on anything. I've had ST tires blow out setting still.
Some of those commercials 5th wheels have adjustable locking for play in the pin and locking the 5th wheel in place is what you have to do with a walking dump trl.
Thank you, Brother, for sharing this. I have a 2015 that needs something like this, was thinking about replacing the roof but why not give Flex Seal a try it can't make it worse (famous last words). The roof is not leaking but the roof is pretty thin and showing it ware and age. Blessings and thanks again. In His Service!
Glen Nice video. Where can I get a new sweeper switch or fix mine. Our cart jumps from 0 mph to full speed after we put the accelerator to the floor. I think the sweeper is not touching good until the highest speed and postition. Thanks jim

When you said what was what on the wiring you didn’t say what color was what. Wiring is still confusing without talking about the colors of the wiring.
How comfortable are your kids in those none air ride ford seats. I want to do seats in my cab over and I'd like air ride but just don't know if I could get the clearance for air ride to be effective.

Mine has a lock, but it only holds it up. What model do you have? I have a manual I can look and see if yours has a lock. Does it just have the one hydraulic hose? If it does, then the cylinder should have a vent on it. It will be screwed into one of the ports. I wonder if that could be faulty. Does the cylinder try to move at all? If it has been setting for a long time, the pivot points could be froze up.
