Great job, it seems to me you are doing a high detail of the bait, but because of the final coating they are all lost. I think you're wasting a lot of time paying attention to such little things. I'm cutting balsa baits. I make simple shapes for a good smooth coating, without bumps. Keep the general shapes, but without too much detail and wood carving and you will get a much better result.
