Jimmy, still sad about the fire. Spoke with neighbours who saw smoke there last Wednesday, so must of been burning since then! Walking through woods at dusk tonight, there were 2 kids in there, they legged it away across fields as soon as they saw me, so guess they could be the idiots responsible. 😠

Absolute oxygen thief's mate, that was a cool little shelter. I'd have been gutted to. Decent of the farmer to still let you use the woodland, some of them might've taken it really badly and banned you even though it wasnt your fault. It's a damned disgrace what they did. How would they feel about someone destroying something they've put hours of their own time in making. They just don't think at all. Keep on going fella. Show them they can't stop you from doing something you love.
This happened to me this winter;( I built a huge tipi wikiup near a beautiful spot on a river brought my whole family out for a day hike and lunch on the fire got to my shelter and it was a pile of trees on the ground. Must have took the jerks days to cut untie dissemble it cant understand why..

Just seen this Video Jimmy, is that where you were the other week when i was the other Woods up beside my place. Thats shocking mate, the whole Woods could of went up if it had been Summer or dryer conditions. The Kids of today up beside me are going Micey like little plastic Gangsters, boils my Pee mate. I went to a place in the Woods where i target practice with my Catty and it was strewnwith those flags off the holes off the Golf Club. I gathered them up and returned them. Such a shame mate.

Hello Jimmy, everytime I watch this it really f***s me off why mindless idiots spoil other people's enjoyment there so irresponsible when you think the damage they've done to the woodland and the wildlife, but I know you're a resourceful person and this won't put you off from future builds I know how I felt when my shelter's got burnt to the ground, myself had a lot of health issues lately so haven't been doing much outdoors just watching your video's keeping me in the mood , enjoyable video good food , good crack, good fire , good company might see you down at camp bob some time see how my health goes thanks for sharing👍🏕

I think you had your mouth too close to the straw buddy, keep the tinder about 10/12 inches away and pucker up tight. Having it too close and blowing hard introduces dampness to the tinder. Great content tho, keep up the good work 👍

sorry to see your camp gone pal, , i hate people who destroy peoples hard work and enjoyment of building something useful and use it as a getaway haven to spend time out on there own and just have peace and quiet,away from all the stress and worries. i wouldnt build there again ,mate look for somewhere else more trees to camo ya base, and just start over.
