Good basic survival, in a pinch you could unbraid the rope part way to be able to thread it through the grommets. A bit of a PIA but if the wind is up well worth it. Thanks for sharing. Currently working on plans for a July ride up the heart of Michigan all the way to Brimley.
Great video Douglas! I've always wanted to go camping alone, just like you. However, I live in a big city, so that won't happen anytime soon. But it will someday and your videos are a mighty big help! Keep them coming
You have very good content. I have an Ebike and I want to go on a tour to your state from Wisconsin to collect copper and matrix stones. My hope is to tour as much as I can in a few years when I retire, by Ebike. You generated very good videos on how to do this type of thing.
I think you would appreciate a bushcraft tarp from a Company like DD Hammocks or There's a cheap but good quality tarp on amazon by free soldier. 3x3 and would last you a decade. Lighter nylon, makes. No noise in the wind, less bulk and so so versatile. And pair that with a load of 550 paracord and the rest of your skills and vast knowledge would fill in the rest. Would love to see you with some. Dedicated gear made for purpose it really makes a difference.
Try to hit your real life continue button on January 20,2020 in Chattanooga, Tennessee in the stealth camp spot you left that morning when Dane picked you up
"I went out alone and got lost" is one of my favorite episodes. "I was walking around in my tennis shoes, NAKED, in the middle of the night, in the middle of this forest, in the middle of the BOONDOCKS. " 😂
