I bought their tarp over a year ago. Been using it as a tent since I got it. Incredible craftsmanship and wonderful customer service. Can't recommend them enough
I have one they sent me last summer. I have used it a bunch this winter as a ground cloth for deep cold camping (hot tent etc). It works great to keep me off the snow and add extra insulation at the same time. I typically have an xtherm sleeping pad with a zrest between it and the ground cloth. After 3 or 4 nights no issues with melting snow under
Seems like it would make an awesome winter camping item. You can find some amazing stuff on Etsy. I recently scored a NOS filson double mac with a pre wool mark tag for under 200usd. It still had the paper inspection tags in the pockets from when it left the factory.
Hey, man. Great review 👏🏻 I just wanted to ask you a question that is not necessarily related to the video: What is the warmest coat you'd recommend (kind of in a budget) for my first winter in Canada. I don't have a lot of experience with layering or cold in general. I'm just looking for something functional that will prevent my butt from freezing. Thanks!
I love it. It’s warm. The wool is soft and cozy, not abrasive at all. It’s holding up well. I laid mine on a sandy beach once and the sand stuck to the oilskin pretty bad but was easy to brush off. I believe it’s worth the money. I just wish mine was bigger. The maker will make bigger ones if asked tho. I’ll be ordering another one in a bigger size In the near future
@@wildforwool3821 Thanks a lot mate. I have contacted them asking for a 2.3m x 1.5m as I'm 6'3 and want the extra lenght. What are the dimensions you are after, and why?
