Great interview.. I hope that one day Warren Buffet takes the time to go see/visit "The Oracle of San Quentin". He has honestly earned it with ALL his time spent educating himself in prison.
I wish he could get paroled. I read of a case where a man killed his wife and unborn baby and was given we 15 to life. The creep was released after serving 15 years and got out and remarried and 6 years later killed 2 step children and his two younger children and tortured his wife. He should never have been released. Curtis Carroll doesnt fit that profile. He has learned how to read and write and learned financial literacy. He is not a violent psychotic monster but he has improved his mindset and his already helping other inmates to become literate. Why not allow this man to come out and contribute to society.
I bet this man is a future billionaire. Keep up the spirit Curtis. Hard work pays. It's takes determination and you did that. What impress me is your willingness to teach others
this guy gives me hope... such an inspiration to teach himself how to trade in prison without even the most basic tools to trade on his own... even with such restrictions he knows what hes doing.. this is crazy
This man WILL change the world, whether it be on a small or large scale, it will most definitely be for the better. I understand I'm probably only stating the obvious here, but nevertheless........what a guy?.😊
Black wallstreets would be popping up everywhere if the parole broad allow this men to be free to teach inner city children.... And they don't want that. They just want to dangle a carrot in our faces with interviews and documentaries on this guy....🤦I will be praying for his release. The Most High God has the final say.
Glad he found his way. They need to start teaching every black history month about black wallstreet and even about Marcus Garvey because that the same thing our successful people been doing from the 1930's.
this is a San Quentin blue shirt great shirt but they have to have long sleeves I have a collection of them I love to wear them I call them my San Quentin shirts when I work there I could not wear them can you imagine somebody on the gun rail with a blue long-sleeve San Quentin shirt but since I've been gone from this hellhole I can wear them now and they look really nice with my EMS navy blue trousers
Up to now some people can't see his VALUE Especially some who would prefer to see him dead, and long time ago paved the path for His death whether he be murderer or saint. He has already committed the crime of being black.
This man is awesome, but is unfortunately making the same mistake most of our great leaders and revolutionaries do. Why do we make public service announcements giving our plans and war strategies to the rulers, principalities, and dark forces of the earth....I'll never understand and it's unfortunate. Self---sabotage and sabotaging each other is the cornerstone of Slave brain--training. I pray our men aren't sent to/kept in prison to be used for their free knowledge or because they're knowledge and desire to lift the rest of us is a direct threat. God renew, bless and protect them
What happens when the stock market tanks and we go into a great depression like in 2008?.........the stock market is so over valued it would be foolish to invest.
I hope he gets out and enjoy the fruit of his labor. This is a true reflection of what America is made of and whats sad is people are surprised to find a black man achieving certain level of intelligence. Especially those who live in this country blinded and forcefully convinced minorities are only capable of doing crime in unfairly leveled ground. America deemed so many black people dreams and make it look like it's an accident GTFOH. There would've been so many black billionaires and high achievers from those who are in prison if they were dealt a fair card like any other white man in this country.
The Democratic is a capitalist as well...they are all rich...they just like to at least throw some crumbs to the small people...the Republicans don't even want you to have the crumbs

DAGO 60707 he had a parole date long before he had changed his life. There is an actual documentary that he goes into more details about his past and the changes he has made. But I think teaching finance to prisoners is crucial to rehabilitation. In the other documentary I watched he said it is unrealistic to give someone "$200 gate money and tell them do good, don't comeback." And in some states it is less then $200. It is like the old saying give a man a fish he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish he can eat everyday.
Everyone deserves redemption when they change their mindsets. Hes already been incarcerated 20yrs, hes rehabilitated cz hes realized what he did when he was 17! And is remorseful for it.
@Joseph Petruzzi. You must be white, I don’t mean it as pejorative terms. Go do your homework, how many white juvenile kids (15-17 yrs) get life sentences vs black and Latino kids. People like you are truly the heart of darkness.
