I am writing this as my first comment ever placed on RU-vid. I have listened to Vlad's interviews for years and have been compelled by this story in particular to say something. While some of Vlad's videos being better than others, I as well as other's have noticed that over time, he (Vlad) need's to become the actual talking point of his videos beyond the actual guest which is insane. You (Vlad) now dilute every single interview with all of your self proclaimed stories as if we have all come to listen to you. You finally have an interview with a guest who's plight is actually something to stand behind and recognize that the opportunity of change and self deliverance from a life most deem unfathomable is possible. The story promoted could very well be the story to help other young men make better choices. When they themself meet that crossroad in life, that set's the stage for what will be, receive the message he speaks. Promoting the fact that there is actually more out there in the world in the form of opportunity and self preservation. Opportunity that actually promotes not only just for self, but communal difference. This is a start (for those who can relate to Curtis Carroll's previous life). All the experiences explained by "Carroll", past and present are important to be heard without demur, which I know with you wanting to be able to relate to, are in no way, shape or form able to come close. You so bad want to compete and compare your life and struggles with Carroll and others you interview. You can't, nor do we want you too. We all would rather you let him and his light shine bright for all to see without the overcast of your cloud's dimming. Now this is not to promote Carroll's wrong doing's in the past which in itself has been a mountain to climb, while he himself remembering his tumultuous beginning, has been able to be one of the few to traverse his way to a place with favor from myself and I'm sure many other's who can only appreciate the feat that he has been able to accomplish. In regards to being self taught while in some of the toughest prisons in the United States is a fact that most inmates who walk those lines are unable to find for themself the discipline and confidence necessary to self educate to basic necessities let alone investing. Instead of trying to correct him with every chance on a topic that you yourself are not as proficient as you think you are, as you yourself has stated, maybe accept the fact that he, Carroll, has done more than you with less opportunity, less education, less authority, less freedom and put himself in position to never look back and pay forward the humility you lack and knowledge he himself has obtained. Congratulations Mr. Carroll and may your future stay bright!💡🙏
