Pls research properly. There were 2 outages that overlapped 1. Crowdstrike 2. Azure Azure - outage affected Office 365. This was resolved fairly quickly. Crowdstrike- released an update that affected POS, Airlines, etc. This update crashed Windows. This requires manual intervention to fix the issue. As Crowdstrike was fixing the issue, users were continuously trying to login. Which further stressed Azure. Making a blanket statement that Microsoft outage affected POS, Airlines, etc is wrong. News is a critical source of information and should not be treated so casually.
