No one elected her to overrule her councillors. She overruled the people elected to represent their ward residents. Shameful. Bonnie needs to hurry up and leave for provincial politics and let the councillors do what’s best for their residents.

That council has had many BS rulings inconsistent with the public. 70% of Mississauga residents wanted dispensaries post-legalization yet that council routinely rejected it and only now voted in favour of havimg one. Oakville, Milton and a bunch of smaller towns have dispensaries without issue yet a large popukated cith like Mississauga didnt because our council year after year voted contrary to those they represent. With a housing crisis, those folks had the nerve to vote against expanding the numbers of units that can be built in a given place? She did the right thing.
