**BUSTED** Abandoned ice rink.

Oh wow am amazed you got in here, I know it like the back of my hand but always good security, I thought you'd get rumbled at the start tbh you did well. I think they are trying to keep it nice in the hope someone else will invest and re-open? It's a shame they never kept it "updated" and everything like the flooring etc., looks really dated considering it was open until last year. I have clung to the sides of this rink many times. and used to watch Bracknell Bees play most weekends, hence why the chairs are black/white/yellow for the team colours. The sled inside was from the taboggon run outside. Thanks for sharing. I hope nobody else gets in tbh, it would be nice if this could be re-opened.

I only came across your site a couple of weeks back, am loving it ... but I was shocked to see the John Nike Leisure Centre on here as I was looking through tonight, I hadn't realised it had closed down 🥲 I was a Season Ticket holder for the Bracknell Bees for 10 years but had not been back in over 10 years. It brought back memories, my seat was upstairs directly behind the goal, I remember my Dad nearly getting his hand taken off trying to catch a puck hit by one of our hard hitters and beloved players called The Chief. I was literally shouting at the screen to tell you where the pool table and bar were, you were going everywhere but 😂. It was a shame you didn't look in the old players changing rooms behind the DJ booth, they may have left some kit behind for you to play with ... but just seeing no score board was so sad. Security has always been hot in that building so you guys were lucky to last as long as you did.

I used to spend my youth there every weekend back 30 years. Very strange seeing it empty its all been knocked down now. Used to be owned by John Nike he gave it up because he wanted to build a basketball court but Bracknell council wouldnt agree ❤

To be fair to the security they must get spooked when they know they have to confront a group of people what ever reason being there remember their used to it being quiet and sleeping on the job haha so when they have to actually have to confront someone must get them all annoyed haha

You guys are the first I know of to get in there. I went here just after the first lockdown but didn't fancy climbing as high as you guys did 🤣🤣 It shut during lockdown due to funding getting cut. Such a shame but fingers crossed an investor comes forward and invests in this place again in the future
