@@bradtomm97nah here in united states we either don't give a fu** or the complete opposite but it's usually always customer in the wrong because people fake I.D cards
This happened to my uncle for his 21st. He was drinking at a bar for years and celebrated his b day there. Apparently the waitress and bar keep beat his ass that night. 😂
I went on a night out on my 18th birthday as legal age to drink in Ireland is 18 the pub owner was like your 18 today so everytime you was drinking here before you was under age 😂😂 he gave me 2 free shots of tequila
When I was a kid My buddies older brother was huge and was stopping by the local bar for beers from the time he was 16.He showed his ID to the bar tender on his 21st.Kicked him out and let him come back the next day.
I have the reverse story. I’ve been 6’6” and about 300 pounds since high school so growing up, no one ever guessed my age right. Having said that, I still never tried fooling a cashier or a bartender or whatever when I was underaged. It seemed high risk with low reward. On my 21st birthday, I went to the ABC store to buy booze for my birthday party. I filled a shopping cart with nothing but liquor. The two guys behind the counter didn’t card me. My gf at the time tells the cashiers this is for my 21st birthday emphasizing the “21st.” They awkwardly and embarrassingly carded me even though they were already printing the receipt and bagging everything. I guess one of the guys felt bad for me and grabbed a free sample airplane bottle off of a handle from the shelf, and stuffed it in my bags. The jokes on me. I should’ve been shopping there for years.
I remember buying smoke from a local shop and i remember the lady saying "i hope you're buying them for you and not those kids out their".... I hit puberty early and was 6ft at age 14 with a good amount of facial hair and those kids outside that she was talking about.... yea they were my school friends waiting for me 🤣
Bro I used to buy smokes and the guy at my local said "you're not 18 are you" and I was like come on bro I been coming here for ages of course I am he just gave me a smile and said "don't worry you're good bro" and served me😭 chillest shop dude ever
I had something similar happen. I’ve always looked older than what I actually am. I started going to this bar that my buddy played at my freshman year of high school and because I was with the band I never got ID’d so my 21st birthday comes around after about five or six years of drinking at this bar almost weekly. I go in have drunk and the bartender asks why I’ve been pregaming. I replied with “you only turn 21 once” and I thought the bar was gonna blow a fuse until he busted out laughing and then changed his ID policy.
I drank at a bar from 19 to 21, never got carded. On my 21st I asked the bartender for a birthday drink. She didn’t believe it was my birthday so I showed her my license. The bartenders reaction was similar . Good times.
@@blunderless trueeeee didn’t even think of that, do people still have those? Most liquor stores just don’t even seem to ID anymore so kids stopped getting them
@@Awendell420 where do you live? Lmfao! in vape/smoke shops they don’t ID very often here in Michigan (way sketchier) but every single liquor store here IDs. Fakes are insanely popular here. Go to a college town in Michigan and i guarantee about 50% of people lining up for bars are underage and are showing fakes to the bouncer
I feel like I’m the only one my age that did not have a fake ID lol. All my friends had one, my gf (now my wife) is 3 years older so I’d just have her buy it for me. Also my best friend is 2 years older than me on top of the friends my age that all had fakes. So once I turned 18 it was basically no problem getting alcohol😂
@@OneFedUpMF lucky ass😂 when I was like 16-17 we did that shit with tobacco. There was this ONE Shell gas station and the Indians in there NEVER checked ID😂😂
When this happened at my local shop, they didn’t even second guess it. They knew I wasn’t 21 😂 just be cool, don’t invite friends in, and go every so often. You won’t need a fake. Also a good rule, if you see a woman, don’t even try. Women always ID
I’ve had women not ask for id but it’s definitely more likely for them to but getting asked for id isn’t a big deal just leave and try somewhere else until they don’t ask I’ve never had them call the cops or get pissed or anything
Lol no, liquor store cashiers are usually required to ID. Every retail store I've ever worked at also stresses that you have to always ID when someone is making an alcohol purchase. Especially if you look young, there's no chance you won't be asked for your ID.
@@KkKk-ov5wodepends on where in europe, its mostly 18. But for example in Germany its 18 for harder alcohol, 16 for beer, wine and champagne and 14 if u are with ur parents (but only the stuff u can drink at 16)
As soon as I turned 21 I went to my local liquor store for a bottle of vodka only to find out they didn’t card me. I could’ve been buying alcohol this whole time!
Nah man they ask 4 you’re Id twice once at the door and once at the cash if you have a really good fake you should be decent but if you don’t then You’re gonna be walking 100% people don’t like when young folks smoke it’s a waste of time and talent plus if you arrive high at the weed store they are legally not allowed selling you weed
@@eldios3666 21 is still young and in most legal states in the U.S, 21 is the legal age for pot. You’re still young and talented at 21. Most aren’t even out of university, yet you can drink and smoke to your heart’s desires.
I had been coming to a few bars/liquor stores in my town to buy alcohol since I was around 16 as I looked older growing up and these were pretty laid back places. But when I was 21 finally, I went into one liquor store and slipped up and they realized they were selling to me underage for years
It’s so hilarious to me. This happened to me at my old local shop, they’d served me since I was 15, and when I turned 18 I let it slip lol. North ‘ Erica is funny
I don’t condone underage drinking, BUT, if you do want to get alcohol while being underage your best bet is to go to a gas station/corner store in a bad part of town. They’re significantly less likely to ID you or even care. Not that I’d know…
Been going to the liquor store since I was 15. It’s far too common that people look a lot older, at a younger age nowadays. Helps when your country’s drinking age is 18 though. Especially when you’re over 6ft with facial hair
The co owner of my local gas and liquor station only found out I'm 19 a couple days ago. He flipped out and he's indian and it's hilarious. "Y-YOU MINOR!? V TOLD ME YOURE OLD ENOUGH TO DRINK!? YOURE 19!!!!? I SELL YOU CIGARETTES AND BEER AND LIQUOR. OH NOOOO" man it was great
Damn I had a beard when I was 17 lol so yeah I relate to much. I actually lost my id when I was 22 and they carded me. Shit I use to buy cigs for my parents when I was like 8 with a note signed by my mom. Hahahaha
@@Your_Evil_FemboyThat's a weird thing to say. 25 is too old to be attractive, in studies people just go for the youngest faces possible. So, she's probably happy about it now.
there was a liquor store that I went to for years and buy beer since I was 18 and the owner never asked for ID. On my 21st birthday I went in and handed him my ID, and he looked at it and he immediately said well that will get this store shut down. I told him sell the store to me and we’ll keep it a secret. I own the store now and I hired the owner to be the store manager
College bar in my town, went there for 2 years with a fake, finally walk up to the bouncer on the night of my 21st, give him my actual idea and his reaction was literally "man what the fuck"
I got turned down at some bars on my 21st birthday. "We don't consider you to be 21 until the actual start of the business day of your birthday." I wasn't gonna turn into a Karen. I said thank you and someone else got my business that night.
That's the best reaction to find out your normal customer turning 21 after they been coming to there for years I am aware it is probably a joke idk but it's FUNNY as hell
Lol that was me as a kid I walked in to the ABC store and told them it was my 21st birthday I was only 16 but looked older and they never asked for my ID so every Friday I would buy a few kegs and bottles it was great! Gotta love the south!😊
This exact story happened to my uncles back in the day. They had been buying beer for years and on their 21st they told the guy to come to their party and when he figured out they weren’t 21 he was like get the hell outta my store 😂
I’m 20 now, I’m not a big drinker but I look the oldest so since highschool I was always the one to try and get it. If I went in work clothes, never got asked, if I went in normal clothes id always get asked, and only get it 50% of the time. The trick is to just not bring a ID, say you don’t have it and walk away empty handed
Friend of mine been at this shit for years too lmao, he just turned 21 and showed up at the same place as usual proud he was 21 lmao, shit was funny asf
Had a real/fake ID in high school. Had this same thing happen. Was awesome, my high school ID student number was almost identical to my birthday, but the final 2 numbers were a few years over my birth year, so it was legal age. I scanned the ID, photoshopped some slashes into the ID number and I was off to the races
My dad looked old for his age being 6 foot and having a beard at 16. He went to one particular liquor store for years and the people there even knew him by name. He came on his 21st to cash in store credits and everyone was giving him birthday blessings. The owner said it was on the house but when my dad was walking out he said "hey Bryan, how old are you now?", my dad told him and he went pale. My dad wasn't banned but the owner started carding everyone from then on.
My friend that’s like 25 or 26 had her ID checked at a restaurant and the guy was examining it for a good 40 seconds, but her ID was horizontal!! I laughed so hard!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dont matter how "old" one looks, they failed to check an ID its no wonder kids are able to easily get ahold of liquor. Every ID needs to be checked just like a dispensary. Hell they check everyones ID! Don't matter if you've been comin here for years, they still check it. 💯
