I love hearing his voice...So deep, so smoky, so sensual. For a man who only stood 5 ft. 5 in. tall, I am sure audiences of his day were really surprised at how distinctive his voice was. He was beautiful man♥
He is completely adorable! I know Buster wasn't happy doing these films because the powers that be really didn't understand the first thing about his talent, but he was wonderful in this movie and of course, I just love hearing his voice. No one as cute as Buster...ever!
Just watched this movie the other day. I love listening to his voice. I was rather surprised a by the ending. So sad. Buster will always be my favorite!
Amazing how the movies of the thirties could be so naughty without ever actually being dirty. That opening dialog really lets your imagination go wild.
The 'free and easy' dance scene follows this scene. I have been so fortunate to find all of these wonderful scenes, but looks like no one has uploaded it so I'll upload it. I need the practice anyway. I would also upload the whole movie, but I didn't get the opening credits. If it doesn't matter to someone who would like to see it let me know. @prettyparisian I think in his performance on stage..when he is 'acting' he shows how suave he is...not a dope at all, that's a large part of why this movie doesn't weigh up for me. For him, one minute to be a niave clumsy but adorable dope and then when on stage obviously someone with charm and finesse.
@gospelfreak92 Buy it. I did before I knew what it was like 'cause I'm a bit of a die-hard. It's really not the best film and it left me feeling what the point of it was.

Le grand buster est la et il me fascine le film est un navet mais buster était ruiné il falait qu' il travaille. Mais à la mgm ils y avaient une cliques épouvantables.
