I don't think he wanted a conversation. Maybe hé wants tò see how he can pull the strings in his owner Dan. His Little look of will he say something. It Is like a game for him. I am not a bird, but the way he looks at Dan Is a treat. Someone said he Is a teenager. So his attitude Is of independence. He Is lovely
I think he already has conversations with Dan. It Is amazing how intelligent thèse birds are. Though I find it difficult sometimes to understand what he says. He has his own mind and will express his ideas.
at 3:47 he looks like he's saying "so that's how it is then? hm nice shoe you got here.. it would be a shame if someone say, ripped it up into little pieces with their beak.."
I love Max. He has become one of the joys of my life. I watch him over and over. His owner is so dedicated to him and I believe that Max knows it. Max has so much personality. What a wonderful feathered friend.
Pam, you said exactly what I was going to say! I just love Max. He is a very intelligent bird and I so love seeing him and his cute, sweet little antics! 💖❤️💖
I'm going through some crazy times. you and max have given me the mental break( no pun intended) that I need right now. perfect. thank you. say hi to that little boy.
Have you seen Marnie? She's an Indian ring necked parrot. Beautiful. She says some crazy stuff. She a pretty aqua color. She interacts with other birds too. Just fyi. I'm sure there's tons...I hope things get better. Sending you good vibes...
I've never heard of Marnie, thanks! Will check her out. Animals are the greatest therapists of all. Since I lost my pets (dog and horse within 8 months of each other) I realize how much they really helped. Was watching Max around 1:30 am complaining about being in his carrier. What an expressive bird! Quite a personality. It seems he and Dan were brought together for a reason. Dan is certainly an exceptional person as well. His love and caring of Max really comes through on the videos. And his parents as well--most people I know are afraid of large birds but they seem to have a special relationship with Max. Lucky bird!
My now deceased blue fronted Amazon (the Cissy in my RU-vid name) was bonkers over pistachio nuts. It was hard sometimes to find the unsalted ones as those are the only ones I would give her. She would eat them all day long if she could, but of course I limited the amount she got.
I don't know if Australia has the kind of nuts you're thinking... but all the wild cockatoos chew up wood of any kind, especially fence posts and window sills. The smoother and sexier it is the more they want it.
@ Neith : "wild cockatoos chew up wood of any kind, especially fence posts and window sills." I wonder why? If they were looking for bugs to eat, you'd think they'd prefer old and rotten wood. Maybe they just like being destructive, like little birdie juvenile delinquents. 😄
2019just saw this video max is cute and funny so funny the look on his face when his dad caught him on the way he said hi he is like a child getting up to mischief max under stands every thing that is said to him
"This is mine and that is mine, have you got that, Daddy?" Maxwell, you can't rule the roost and destroy rooms and your Daddy's belongings. Those bird lips have lots of toys to destroy.
Max, what cha doing? He's so cute underneath the counter causing MAXdestruction! He's so funny when he begins tapping the floor as he's holding the slipper, too funny! Love you Max!
This is still one of my favourite videos of Max, I come back to it every now and then when I need to be cheered up. Max looks so happy and content with his little hideout, it makes me feel better for some reason.
Ok, I'm officially in love with this bird! His great character and obvious happiness just show what a good 'Daddy' he has - it's so nice to see them interact.
I watched a ton of Max videos while recovering from cancer He is so cute, funny and a little s**t! He makes me laugh. He is awesome! Thanks for making these videos
There's a hole in my base board, dear Maxwell dear Maxwell, there's a hole in my base board dear Maxwell a hole.We know who has caused it dear Maxwell, it's you. You'll have to speak to daddy nicely to ask him to buy you some slippers that fit..x
Max is the only thing I go online for, he makes my life complete, I would love to meet Max and Dan, but way over here in Bonnie Scotland 🏴 his wee feet, his wee smile, and his BIG personalityMax Is a worldwide treasure cxxxxxx
when he was tapping against the shoe at the end, I had to laugh so hard... the way he looks at you while tapping it. what he was thinking... man... i'd really like to know
My local bird rescue has so many cockatoos up for adoption, it makes me sad that such a beautiful intelligent bird is impulse purchased and then thrown away when they dont act like they do in videos. thank you for giving max such a good life
I just recently discovered these video's of Max. He is a force of nature lol. So curious, he misses nothing. These videos are great. I love the bond you two have. I play these video's for my Cockatiel Bam Bam. 👍🕊
It's so cute the way you talk to max. You are firm when he's in trouble, but still you do not sound mean. It sure shows in his attitude. He doesn't curse or say anything that would embarrass a person. You give him MANY toys to play with to keep him occupied and boy is he a busy little guy. I've come to realize that a lot of people do not keep their birds busy enough. No wonder they misbehave. It's like having a high energy dog and never exercising him. He will get in trouble and chew the furniture up, etc.
I can't have pets like this in a house. I would feel too guilty that I'm keeping them in a confined, boring space. I'd have to build a frigging aviary in my backyard to feel good about it, and never have any of the birds without bird buddies. I'd frigging pay a bird vet to come every 6 months. I just cannot.
Max seems so happy and Li just love his voice and how you talk to him all the time. He's an intelligent, interesting, and gorgeous creature. My favourite parrot die to their intelligence and behaviour
I just love the way you call him "Little boi" These videos make me want a bird but I don't have the money plus living in an apartment the birb would drive the neighbors crazy lol
