@@canthi109 The map already shows that Taiwan is part of Japan.Which means at the time of this map, China lost first sino-japanese war and lost Taiwan (as mentioned earlier) and Korea, which was China's tributary state fell into Japanese sphere of influence. So Qing China here weren't doing so great

They are an ethnicity within Manchuria or the northern provinces of china. Much like the Yue are in the far south. Fridge accepted cultures within china unlike say the uyghur who are far more culturely and linguistics distinct from rest of the eastern china.
Yes, they were not considered chinese at the time of their conquest, but they did rule china and was eventually, mostly subsumed by chinese culture, so close enough

For me Taiwan will always be the true and superior China. If you want real true Chinese culture Taiwan is the way to go as the nationals protected their culture and heritage instead of changing, erasing, and watering it down like the commies did.
The only best scenario for Taiwan is for it to back to it's Austronesian natives and Han Chinese returned to mainland (to do exactly what you say, preserving Chinese culture). Stop being unfair >:(

When a society goes full communist it must first destroy the previous order to usher in the new order as such every aspect of that society must be broken down this includes morally and culturally. nah it's actually late 19th century or early 20th century ish ( before 1910 since Korea still exists as a state in the video and in 1910 Korea was annexed by Japan) Qing Dynasty wasn't around during the era of second world war since Qing dynsaty were becoming more unpopular due to the incompetence it displayed to the public (China becoming playground for foreign powers etc) and Qing fell to a revolution in 1911.
