Tbh the Abrams slowly became bad over time in War Thunder just because each one of them has the exact same weak spot and people overtime just learned where to shoot them, Even if this turret ring was correct it still would not stop it being a weak spot for 99% of the rounds it would see at the BRs.
@@DawgIVLife Well atleast 2s38 and other auto cannons won't be able to pen them straight on. A fucking ZSU57 one shot me frontally. Abrams is so comically weak sometimes.
@@swat.1019 I would then just switch to APHE and pen you though the gunners optics or just aim slightly more up and go though the lower part of the breach. The abrams was never about pure armor it was about mobility but also over time the more useless armor like the unequipable Sep V2 package makes these tanks worse.
And while you can shoot through the roof of the US t32, which Im assuming would not be as possible IRL, the russian t72 still just doesnt have the cupola modeled.
There is a little bit of a lip on the top of the turret of the T32 it would be possible but IRL you don't have a HD PC screen and precise controls of the gun. Pretty sure the T72 thing is a bug since it was last update where the copula got buffed.
50cal from tier 1 to top tier is always the final way to take out tracks, guns, optics or whole vehicles. A very well modelled weapon in game and shows why it is still spammed on every US vehicle until this day.
nice vid, works well, except for that i watched your 6.7 vid yesterday and proceeded to fight a pershing t26e5 and well died, was using tiger E. that weak spot is hard but maybe i just need to get better
The T26E5 is one of the hardest vehicles in the game to destroy from the front. It use to be even more insane when it was 6.3. Even when I play with a squad we focus T26E5s because we know how strong they can be so if a squad mate is in CAS and one gets called out it’s getting a bomb.
@@DawgIVLife Tiger 2s usually pen my T26E5 in the turret smh, but i think the best shot would be at the MG port. Its heavily armored compared to the other tanks, but a Tiger 2 will easily pen it, and if it does, it hill hit the ammo
Another thing to note about the IS4M is well it's unlikely you can get a shot trap off the sides of the turret and then go through the roof armor I can never do it when I'm facing one but when I'm playing it I get absolutely obliterated
great video , i think for france you could have added the "foch" it is 7.3 but allway get uptiered to 7.7 when played alone or just most french player use 7.7 tanks with it , it could have been intresting since it's for what i know the most armoured french tank from the frontat least
Agreed for all, but for T32E1, honestly don't even try to engage frontally if you don't have HEAT. APHE turret weakspot is really wonky even when it is still. When in game, slight angle and movement make it nearly impossible to pen. Just scoot off and try to flank. Also, Cent LFP and roof are easy kill for all of them as it never got upgraded.. Cant forget if you are facing someone who knows how to play the Centurions they can be formidable opponents if the one driving them knows how to use its strengths and also how to use its weaknesses as an advantage.
@@DawgIVLife personally i hate spawn camping i play for caps and give the other team a chance, if they get stomped i usually just mosey around in a spaa
@@warmmayo3150 spawn camping is not fun for the enemy or if your being spawn killed but most of the time if your being spawn trapped or killed the game is already over and your team is falling very rare a comeback happens for that.
Most tanks by 8.7 have actually lost armor, the leopard 1s have worse armor than panthers, M60s are no better than an M103 armor wise, the only ones that may prove to be an issue is the T-55M-1 or the Chieftain mk10, the rest are weak AF
me watching this to counter people trying to shoot my weakspots (Except the M48's ofc) a good note to have is if someone is trying to hit somewhere on your front like your turret ring and its not an Abrams and its below your gun, if your gun was already taken out, point your gun down to block it, if its a Maus/E-100/IS-6, turn your turret so they can't hit your turret cheeks or view ports on the IS-6, for the T32 and T32E1 when people try to shoot your roof, try to find positions where you can use gun depression and angle so if they try to go for your lower plate or turret roof, they wont be able to hit it or pen your roof 👍 Oh yea, if you have a 100mm+ gun, shoot the roof of a centurion, generally it works better if you have a 122 but Centurion roofs, if you can't see their lower plate is an easy pen because its just so weak
I dont play 6.7 anymore because of my american 6.7 vehicles not doin shite to them Edit: The T-26E5 is 6.7.... I only face 7.7 vehicles in it and somehow can't pen nor spot anyone
