I went back and re-watched the first video on this project from a month ago. It is a pretty amazing transformation from then until now. The original dam was so narrow and grown in. It also seemed a lot lower. Brush Commando is going to have a beautiful lake on his property after Chris landscape sculpture is complete.
This little duck pond was a nice surprise! And to see it efficiently transformed brought new perspective to this project. Thanks to both yourself and Brian for making such cool stuff to watch~~
That little pond will look a lot better if Brian has it in his budget to let you dredge out all the cattails that you can reach from the bank. It’s amazing how you control the water in the ponds to repair breaches in the dams without draining them completely. You save the water and the fish by doing it that way.
You have all the cool tools, Chris!😁Love watching you sculpt dirt, you make it look easy but I know it isn't. Brian has a nice place that you are making look phenomenal. And yeah, I thought of the 10 acre pond you fixed a couple of years ago. Thanks for sharing.
☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸Evenin’ Chris ugh where’d the weekend go??😱 But I do so enjoy settin’ down to a good meal hearing ur music playing… lolol Pearl(solid white cutie )&Damus (Egyptian Mau .bronze- ) cats come flying knowing it’s cuddling time and actually watch! The pond is shaping up majestically. Such beauty in the up coming sunrises & sets u r truly a master of creation. You understand nature and that’s the difference. Blessings to you & yours
This seems to be another never ending lets add some more now that I think about it projects Chris seems to get himself involved in. His added work load is our viewing pleasure. That lake is definitely going to be a beautiful scene for the neighborhood when it's filled up and surrounded with grass.
Interesting little project with little or no room to move around the site, but, bet it’s going to look pretty nice when done. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Chris with all of the clearing you’re doing here I’m surprised you haven’t found any balloons. The transformation you’ve done here is truly spectacular. Thanks for sharing.
It's like that old game, "Wack A Doddle!". Fix one pond, find another one. Fix that one - and find another. Fun! Adventurous, Frustrating, Rewarding, Enjoyable!
Thank you for those Amazing Arial Drone shots at the start... It shows, not only how Big the lake project is, how much water is fed into this lake... Even during dry/temperate weather seasons... No Wonder the Original Sand dam broke during a Storm... The new Clay Keyd dam will survive the next big one for sure :) The overflow seems small looking at the size and rate at which its rising... but the customers said he'll be putting in a "drop down" mechanism.... which managed rite will ensure your work survives for Centuries to come
Another great day on the job! Thank you for not only showing us your work, but also telling us what you plan on doing, how your going to do it and and why! I have learnt so much about your profession just by watching your channel! I'm always excited to see what you've got planned next!
Nice drone shots of the 'big' pond now for the 'little' where can it be - pond. Narrow dam but LetsDig18 will fix that for access. Stumps no match for the 350 and stumper. Nice work on this one too.
In this Country much Ponds and Lake. You beginning by a Other Lake the Dam nrw to building and the Areal become a Other Picture. Very good Work and Video. I gladden my of the Continuation from this Work. 💪👍
Chris this is no longer a pond. This is a reservoir in Texas. lol Is this going to be like Bealy-Good? A never ending project? It is another beautiful piece of property. Thanks Chris.
Native pines have taproots. The hybrid pines planted don't. They were for the wood industry - easier to harvest and replant. Deep tap requires big machines. I have both kinds on my property.
The off-road truck I had the opportunity to run was the tailgate was half a tailgate and it tipped down and you were dump over the top of it. I helped a local contractor seal a landfill, and we had to move a bunch of stuff to a lower position in the landfill, but as you raised the dump up, the tailgate would lay out flat and you dump over it dumping under it it didn’t hold as much soupy yucky stuff but anything long or tangled would go over the top of the gate and it’ll be fine
The beavers will be wondering what the heck happed here bro, first the big pond now this smaller one. All looking really good anyway. Safe travels. Ken.
wondering if ALL this property is gonna be all underwater?? I love when Chris discovers the issue with the duck pond, and says " this is just the Dam problem right here" 🙂would be nice, after this was repaired that the wildlife comes back to enjoy it. Gee, you really got your workout today, jumping between dozers and dump truck.
