Cathy, who is a friend of mine from church, has mentioned making Butter Rolls several times. She would say that she watched her granny make them. I had never had them until this week. Harold loves reading books by Rick Bragg, who is an Alabama author. He bought one a few weeks ago where he wrote 'Tales from His Momma's Southern Table'. It was about food his granny made. Each chapter ended with a recipe. One of the chapters was about Butter Rolls. After hearing Cathy talk about them I decided I would try Rick's family recipe. The neat thing was his grandmother told him that he could make the biscuits from scratch or use the ones in the can. She said the ones in the can are good so that's the recipe I used. You need to eat this when it comes out of the oven. Sooooo good!
