Yeah, I personally never had buttered pasta, but when my hubby is sick, it's all he wants as comfort food. You over boil noodles, not too much, still chewy but a minute more than you'd typically grab it off... drain. Add... country crock and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. ... rosemary??? This whole recipe just got fancy

No mom is using 2 pots for butter noodles. Boil the pasta, drain the pasta put it back in the exact same pot throw in some butter, some garlic, parsley, seasoning, and Collett a day. This is like fancy grown-up butter noodles, I like it though

@@dianebourne6297 I used two pots to make an egg drop soup today. I added some leftover onions and other veg that I had in a leftover curry sauce to the chicken stock, then strained them all out into a second pot before lightly thickening it with a slurry and adding the eggy strands. The biggest pain was washing the strainer. Lol. (It was delicious . I’ll definitely make curry egg drop soup again.)

People saying it has to be extremely plain are nit picking. The base is pasta and butter but you can include whatever will enhance it if you have something on hand. I use a little chicken Bouillon reconstituted in pasta water and grated parmasan cheese, which you can get for very cheap in a shaker. Ground pepper and garlic are good to sprinkle in too it being isn’t too fancy and ruining the point of the dish, it is creativity. Even if you're living in abject poverty (which i have in the past) you can enhance your food with whatever you can afford, even if it is just ground pepper your taste buds will thank you. This helps to keep the meal from becoming unappealing over time. Thank you for coming to my tedtalk.

Those aren’t butter noodles!!! They’re WAY too fancy! Butter noodles are my expertise… I work with, and cook for, MANY small children! (Not mine lol). I also LOVED butter noodles as a kid! I think it’s because they’re so bland, but you don’t have to worry about what’s in the tomato sauce since you KNOW some kids will pick out EVERY. SINGLE. CHUNK! 😂🤣😂 this is the top secret recipe: *boil your noodles (we, as kids) always had it with macaroni, but I like penne. Kids like something familiar (usually macaroni 😂). *Grab a spoon of butter 🧈 I’d say 1Tbs minimum to a heaping Tbs of butter *Put two ingredients together in the pot & mix *Scoop into bowls *Ketchup on the side (sometimes on top even) is FOR SURE going to be the best & most asked for option. This is about 50/50 “ask” *Voila! Yore know the best cook EVER according to your kids lol) My apologies for the full novella 😂🎉 New subscriber btw ❤❤❤
