When I found out I cried like he was my kitty

@@salenahoskins2870 Our CH kitty is our baby. I just realized he'll be 1 year old in a few weeks. Mother's day will be 1 year since I found him. I can't believe how time flies. He tried to be a big boy one night and have tears with the big kitties, but he ended up crying issue out bedroom door. He decided he was still a baby and needs to be tucked in his bed. He's the sweetest. He had extra zoomies tonight. He was flipping and flipping and practicing his murder skills. He's so funny.

I pray and have faith Butters is playing and scampering in devashan (Kitty~Heaven) among the Buttercups! I have a little guy who is also a yellow tabby called Buttercup. We rescued him from a parking lot right after his hind legs & part of his hip and tail were run over by something. We find it hard to believe it was a car wheel and he still survived. Perhaps it was a bike, or even a motorcycle. His mother must have been wild and lived behind the shopping center. We were actually in the pet store when someone rushed him in and said they found him in the parking lot struggling. A rescue person was there and tried to see if he could move his back legs. She said she couldn't take him because he would need more therapy than she had the time to give him since she already had so many cats, and that if she took him to the vet they would just put him down. So I gulped hard and took him home. Put the tiniest premie diaper I could find on him (actually cut it to size and taped it on). Kept him in a cage for a week or so after a visit to the vet... who doubted he'd recover his mobility. Brought him out each morning to feed him but didn't try any therapy until he healed his hind bones which the vet loosely wrapped to keep stable while he healed. After about two weeks we started doing intense therapy, including the crawling track similar to what Butters had. When I started to see his hind legs begin to move I was so thrilled. Before that, he pulled himself on the rug forward with his forelegs. Eventually, he wobbled along and I introduced him to the kitty litter which he took to enthusiastically. I sighed a huge sigh of relief because I didn't want to change his diaper for the rest of his life. I got a low enough pan that he eventually began to crawl into it by himself. But because his tail was broken and he had not seemed to yet develop the muscles in the tail closest to his body, I had to lift his tail up so he could poo. Eventually, he gained control of the lower half of his tail next to his body but the tip of the tail hung over limp to one side, but it was enough so he didn't get poo on it & he began to clean himself really well. So, now, except for his floppy tail on the tip he acts, walks, and plays like a normal cat. His siblings climbed trees and he avoided that for the first year or so, but now he can climb trees if he has to, but still seems cautious perhaps because of habit. I call him my miracle kitty. Everyone else gave him little to no chance of being normal. But he stuck in there & became just about "normal" and able-bodied as any other cat. I love him so much!
