very innovative recipe, will definitely try dis. can you give me some alternatives for making whipped cream as i don't have a hand blender. And my food processor always makes my cream runny. using two forks method is very tough as its need to be whipped for hours.
Thanks for your kind words.. Whipping low fat cream without an machine is a pain.. You can either get hold of Whipping Cream from market which is pretty easy to whip with hands.. Hello Chef! Really Amazing to watch the Ice Cream come around. However, I have a big doubt: please please, please do answer....I have tried making mango Ice Cream in exactly the similar way - keeping in the freezer, but covered it in an air airtight plastic box, and I even hand beat/mixed it once every 3-4 hours for 3 times and chilled it for at least for 12-14 hours, but still it became crystallized a bit and was not completely creamy. Please let me know how to make it in freezer without crystallizing the Ice Cream??? Please do answer!! Thanks in advance.

Good Question. As this is a low fat ice cream, you cannot expect a 100% ice crystal free ice cream.. But its the air what we incorporate enhances the texture and makes it creamy.. You can also add commercial stabilizers and emulsifiers such as GMS and CMC 1/4 tsp each for a better result. But, if you are looking for a extremely creamy ice cream, go ahead and add 1/4 cup condensed milk. GMS and CMC.. Condensed Milk would increase the fat but that'll be worth.. So if you look a way, you can go with anyway :)

This is a foolproof recipe.. You dont need to churn it, We're whipping air in it na.. But if you wish, you can remove the milk for even more creaminess.. :) There's no rule dear, I also mix it once in a while at times.. Like take it out after 3-4 hours from freezer and give it a mix.. But as i said, Foolproof recipe :) No need to do :)

Hey..did ur ice cream get greesy or oily..i have tried to do my ice cream but it tend to give me oily/greesy ice cream to the mouth.. What shud be done for me not to have such ice cream again?its seems like am having trouble with whipping/heavy cream
is it necessary that it should be whipped cream ? can it be plain cream?.i don't have the device for whipping the cream so I just mixed the ingredients and kept it in freezer? will that do?btw nice vid.
Hmm.. Yes, its the whipping which will bring air in the cream. Air = Light Mixture. Air = Creamy Ice Cream. If you just mix and freeze, what you'll get is ice. No worries, you dont need a machine, just take a fork or a whisk and beat it with hands till double in volume, then add the other ingredients also add 1/4 cup condensed milk. Freeze for 3 hours, take out, mix gently then freeze for 4-5 hours and enjoy! :)
